  • Hi all

Was just thinking the same purple! Great weekend here - really warm and sunny and work was good too - did a sale on saturday morning and got an order yesterday (unexpected) so all going ok. Saying that, it's pouring with rain today, not a great start to half term as those of you with children will appreciate! Repeat of last night's Britain's Got Talent is keeping dds amused at the moment but as soon as that's finished I'm sure they'll be expecting a full itinery of activities for the rest of the day!

    Have a good day

    Hi all

Have had a fairly busy morning and as a result of Friday's lunch I have now received a call and have booked a visit to view a potential wedding/conference venue. I have also received my post and have been awarded Working Tax Credits and will get £2507.33 for the period 28 April 09 to 5 April 2010 - its not a lot but its better than nowt:rolleyes: I shall have to let the Council know so that they can work out my HB, just waiting for the NI exemption now:rolleyes:

    Hi everyone!

My BH was good thanks, although I still had to do a little bit of work yesterday to avoid a massive backlog today. We have building work starting tomorrow so hopefully they don't disturb me too much!
ISA savings: £25,139 Other Savings: £1750 (tied up in bond)

Have just ordered a box of silver polishing cloths, already mentioned them in the jewellery care section of my site so thought it would be a good idea to actually sell them. If all else fails I can use them myself or sell them on eBay !

Hi everyone. feeling a little stressed. Not unusal lately. My client has returned from his holidays and unfortunately I didn't get quite as much done while he was away as I would have liked. I dound it hard to motivate myself knowing he wasn't expecting it till he got back. I got a bit of a snarky email from him saying it looked like i had a holiday of my own while he was away....
Surely one of the joys of freelancing is the ability to slow down when possible? part of the problem had been his own lack of proper instrucxtions and me having to guess what he wanted anyway.
I can't afford to lose this client and I think he wouldn't want to lose me so i guess I have to apologise and keep him happy and try to catch up asap. Late nights here i come.
