Wordsmith: they never replied to my email asking them to resend their email in English or German, so their loss. I shall just enjoy reading the text in my spare time. I did get some more work from the agency I'm working on this document for later on today, so that will keep me occupied for a few hours over the weekend and on monday.

I'm getting close to finishing the rough version - unfortunately the way I translate sometimes ends up as a very rough version as some of the sentences dont make sense, if i dont understand it straight off i will translate literally using the words that seem most appropriate and then sort it out later. Does mean a few hours at least of editing.

Only about 1000 words left.. 7 hrs to go.. hope to have it in by 6 or 7 so I can go to sleep til midday!

Well, m'dear, lightweight that I am, I have to go to bed now. Have got to the end of my first read-through and will try to get up at 8 to start on the second. Good luck with finishing yours.

Pastures New - I have an RSA III in typing:j I have noticed though that these days there is no call for it and people used to look at me as though I was mad when I applied for jobs although I did show them once as they had an electric typewriter in the office and I showed them how to do proper diagonal headings:rotfl:

I have to phone Sammy today as she is going to help me with this form for HB, I have just looked at it and says that I need to reply within 14 days, it took them a week to send it:mad: well, they can wait for it as I will have to go into the neighbourhood office because there is no way they are getting original documents from me.

I have things to do today but I can't remember what:rolleyes: Have a good day all and Star go and get some sleep and you Wordsmith...we can't have you sleeping on your desks..now go on off to bed with you:D
