I have been to that pesky outlet village on the M40..its not so bad:D

Mabel - no rush on the postcards either, wait until you are ready and able to drive.

So folks have their birthdays on Monday - I have mine on Sunday when I shall be 48 (well, that's my real age although in mind I am still 18 and I can pass myself off as 35:rotfl:).

Had a bit of a flurry on twitter earlier, one of my followers (I am sure he is a 4N person) tipped me off that The Damned need a support act for Monday night - so I got in touch with Captain Sensible (he of happy talk fame) who is also a guitarist with The Damned and put the band forward - then I phoned one of the band members and told him what I had done - Monday night is normally band practice but Monday night might be support act time if they are chosen. The tipster has asked me to provide a couple of free tickets - fat chance of that we don't get anything for free:rolleyes:

Fantasy - you will find Itsnowtime a few pages back on this thread - she is really nice and her webpage is fab.

Monkey - its nice to see you here get yourself organised with your accounts though as you don't want the HMRC fining you. Thankfully my accountant is going to submit mine online - I feel sorry for her as my receipts are just shoved in a folder although this year I am more organised and have a leverarch file with separate polypockets in dated January to December and I have just put my receipts in in the appropriate month:cool:

Do you know how to re-load the pictures (ie if you needed to replace one picture with another)?
If so then have a look at the original picture file - if you double click on it it shoudl open in windows photo gallery. Look on the right side - it should tell you the file size and the size (something like 700x700 could be bigger could be smaller ;) ) and post on here what the size is. That way I can see if it's easiest to show you how to shrick the image or if I have to try and remember how to lower the resolution lol

  • Evening Folks !!

:hello: to all the recently absent regulars .... good to see you back !

Been busy today, touting for replacement work with some of my usual suppliers & applying to a few work ads I came accross. I also now have a new list of alternative companies to approach, as I stumbled on them when googling for something else

After my earlier setback  , I've just had 2 new campaigns offered to me, one for next week (there goes my scheduled admin time .... but then - I'd rather be earning) and an extra campaign for one of the clients I usually do every 3 months - they've dropped an extra one in for December, as well as the usual one for January :j

I think whatever "H" is taking with all her swooshing around ...... has somehow managed to find its way to and infiltrate me .... I feel very va va vooooom :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Still think you should learn to bottle it Mrs, you'd make a fortune :D

    G:A xx

*toddles back off to put kettle on & settle down to do scheduling*

  • Hi folks

it was a success. Not immediate, but not much in my line of business is, as soap needs time to become good. I have definite confirmation of a stall at their very busy summer fair next year. If it isn't raining it should be a very busy day. YAY. My first of hopefully many fairs for next year. And they even provide me with the stall, so all I have to do, is bring the product. This is absolutley great ! And so far ahead even leaves me time to plan everything and not having to rush to produce things.

Greyhound that is brilliant news. I know you had other plans, but one thing leads to another and this might just be the beginning of a brilliant roll for you.

Will go and have a look for itsnowtime

    cheers
    FD
  • Morning !!! :D

Shall be busy doing scheduling this morning (and of course popping on here), need to sort out "routes" in order to make best use of time with all the bookings, need to try & group them into locations (deadlines permitting) to save me too much travelling. :o

I can probably rule out any new work from 21st through to Jan 4th as this is generally a dead time - so want to hit the searches for new ideas / work pretty hard today, kind of thinking about laying groundwork now in order to have work getting set up for the new year, if that makes sense ?

Goals - if you go back to this page ... http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1564687&page=109 and read from there, you will see Mrs T asked the question of what do we all do ... and you'll find quite a few replies following. But to answer your specific question - I am a Life Coach (among other things), and in the process of having to re-build my business.

Mrs T - Sorry you're coldified, hope it passes soon. :heartsmil

Fantasy - Thanks, & Well done on your presentation pitch
Right, need caffeine .. back later
