Well done on your order JP.

Congrats to Purple and her material being in Harrods - soon you'll be too posh to talk to us:D

TCM - sorry to hear about the 'man flu' - what a bummer about the tasteless biscuits though. I don't think I was loved up...I was hungry and having a blonde moment when I got on the train plus I followed some stupid man's advice (well, that's my excuse and I am sticking to it:rotfl:). I am not normally so brazen to give up a day's work to meet strangers at the airport - I was secretly hoping that he was going home on the train so that we could have gone for lunch but unfortunately it was not to be:rolleyes: He must have thought something of me because he told me that he stopped himself from chucking my details in the bin when he was on his hols:cool: Whatever happens - he has made put a smile on my face:j

Have just heard that whilst at the networking meeting this morning a guiness world record was set because the leader of the group read a script in the fastest time possible - it has been confirmed by a chappie from the guiness book of records who was there at the time. This afternoon, I have been on the 4networking forum and have spent time listening to a voiceover artist - I looked on his website and have decided that I like his impersonation of gollum from lord of the rings:rolleyes:

    Morning!

Congrats Purple!!!!!!!!!! Posh shoes and now Harrods!! How the other half live! Well done you, am really delighted that things are on the up for you.

Horace, I firmly believe that you were all gooey eyed and daydreaming about your chap that you got on the wrong train! No amount of convincing will make me think otherwise!

I have a load of work to do today and no incentive to do any of it. I am way behind with the bookwork as the shop has been so busy last week, the ordering and stock needs looked at, the VAT is untouched and needs to be done and away for next week, I have a mountain of rugs to fix, although I did blitz them the past few days and what with the man flu, oh woe is me!

oK, moan over, off to do some work. Hugs JP! Glad you're feeling a bit better, x

    Hi all

I cancelled the mystery shop that I was going to do today - I really don't want a Prada handbag:eek: I have been sitting in the hospital waiting room for over an hour and all down to a jobsworth:mad: The receptionist didnt release my notes to the clinic because she hadn't got my appointment letter to pin on the front (this is a new thing because nowhere on the appointment letter does it say that it has to be taken to the hospital and as the appointment is on the system what's the problem?) Prof was due to leave at 11.30am and so I made him late for his next appointment:mad: I was also asked for my next of kin so I said that I hadnt got one - not a legal requirement to provide one and I was only going to clinic. Well Prof asked me to make a complaint so I have fired off a two page letter because the receptionists also failed to book a requested appointment to see my glaucoma specialist.

Well I am going to have some lunch and see if I can calm down and put my work head on.

TCM...yes..daydreaming about dreamy chap..he can handle my post any day of the week;)
  • Hi All

Just popped in to say hi to all.
BB was off last week so we were out & about for days here & there and had a lovely week (v.cheaply). Friday prior to that I had my CCCS interview & it was a bit of a shock because they recommended bankruptcy with token payments in the meantime so I can scrape the money together to do it.
I know it makes sense but I've been in a bit of a state over the last few months (tired & hormonal etc with perimenopause) and this has been a bit of the last straw, thankfully a friend bulldozed me into making an appt with them (because I've been treating them for a few months) and now after a v.relaxing hypnotherapy session I'm feeling much more human today.
Lots of other things going on around business which will be exciting, I've had a couple of new customers & regulars this week so although it seems to be very up & down it's averaging out over the month.
Got my Coop bank account set up, and am working on keeping my Abbey business account near empty because I have debts with other Santander bods so don't want them to grab it, after all i still need to bank cheques & pay business rent.
Any other tips and advice greatly appreciated -
    enough rambling from me
Hope everyone has a good week
    TTFN

I don't know if this is relevant for Horace or anyone but thought I would throw it out there. I think it is in Woolley which is a lovely spot.

Thanks Wiggle - its a bit too far for me.

Well done on getting a table for the Christmas Fair JP - you will be fine, if you run out then take their details and a deposit and let them order it so you can make it and send it later.

Hi Nappentass - not sure what to advise re bankruptcy etc - good luck though.
