Welcome Travel lady - what a fab job you have...am always in need of a travel consultant (I admit that I do know one but she is so far up herself that I have decided against using her for anything:rotfl:).

Welcome back Horace!!!!!! Good for you girl getting the holiday off to a flying start at the airport with a hunk! We missed you on here!

Hope your wee one is feeling better Mudbath - I'm sure you've been worried silly. Work can always wait.

    Welcome Travellady!

I have been really really busy the past week (thankfully). The OH dared to put his head round the door for a few hours on Wednesday and got the shock of his life when he had to work there was so many people in the shop! I went to Relate too this week to try and figure out in my head whether to stay or go and I have to say I am still none the wiser. She did recommend a book which I got and am addicted to. As the OH is being incredibly nice at the moment, I feel very guilty for even going.

The oddest shaped horse in Ireland postponed his saddle fitting till the middle of this week so will keep you posted!

JP - I agree that it is difficult setting up a business without a loan but it can be done although the plastic takes a bit of a battering every now and again, in fact it shall take another battering tomorrow when I join this networking group that meets fortnightly at 8am (a far more sensible time than the BNI nutcases).

TCM - I haven't forgotten your magazines and will try and go to the post office tomorrow afternoon. As for this odd shaped horse - does it have 5 legs or something? OH must have got the shock of his life having to work..I am surprised that he managed it to be honest with you:rolleyes: Maybe his behaviour is improving because there is now the real thought that you might actually leave him and he doesnt want to be on his own? Good luck anyway.

Update on the hunk front - I am not normally brazen but I decided at around midday to go to the airport to meet him - his flight was due in at 13.45, timings changed to 13.15 but it eventually arrived at 13.55. He was the last one through and came through with his mum (she was already in Corfu) - he was feeling a bit low but that soon changed when I tapped him on the arm - I had a humungus hug and he was really pleased that I had bothered to meet him:D I handed over a bottle of crema de catalina (like Baileys only much nicer), I was going to keep it for myself but I don't much care for drinking on my todd (I think that its the start of the slippery slope if I start that malarky) - he loves Baileys and drinks similar to Baileys so I know he will like Crema de Catalina. We had a chat inside and then outside - then his mum rang him to say that they had missed the bus to the longstay carpark:o so we walked up to meet her. He showed me a photo of his step daughter that he keeps in his wallet and showed me that he had spent up..only moths flew out. More hugs followed and he was bothered that I was absolutely freezing cold - I must be a silly old fool:rolleyes: I saw him onto his bus and then wandered back to the station to get the train back to Birmingham New Street only I got on the wrong train and ended up in Coventry:eek::mad: I didnt get home until 16.45pm:rolleyes:

Currently running a system scan of my computer as it seems to be awfully slow.

Will be on later tomorrow so have a good day folks.

thanks horace, just cancelled all the credit cards as well to stop us getting into more debt, so im really stuck, would have been ok but i booked for a balloon course on thursday as i wasnt getting any fairs booked ad we had some extra money, it all changed quickly though with noah getting ill, last night was back at hospital ad now he has a suspected fractured wrist. but hopefully the balloon course will be a lifeline as well as ill be paid before the spend, im really looking forward to that course.

glad it went well meeting the fella again horace sounds like you had a good day.

Welcome Travel lady :-) well done TCM on getting the OH to work!! Hope you get things sorted out ( whichever way makes you happy)
Horace - you brazen hussy!!!! Well done you- any plans to meet up?
Hi JP, you'll be fine hun don't worry, if you don't have stock on the day you can always take orders- perhaps offer a discount for orders placed on the day?

Another slow (dead) week for me, no sales on the site and nothing from the wedding shops :-(

    Hiya to you all

Good on you Horace going to the airport....i'm impressed!

JPW - I hope the balloon course is fab and your little one is much better soon. Hugs to you xx

MM - here's to things picking up very soon on your website. I had an email I could have done without - someone asking me if I offered 'discreet extras' with massage. Funnily enough i've not replied - I may be quiet this week but i'm not desperate!

So, we can now add a knocking shop to our collective repertoire!!!
