i have previously posted this but, for you...
try
DVD Decrypter - this rips the dvd to your HD
then
PSP video 9 - this turns it into the right resolution and into an mp4
there are some really good how to's if you google for them.
refering to a previous poster, set the resoultion to 208x144, as this will make the files even smaller, also in the dvd decrypter, set it to split up the rip to 500mb chunks as this is helpful due to the fast forward not being very good on the viso1.
dvd decrypter outputs vobs, then psp video 9 turns the vobs into mp4's
i've just done war of the worlds into 3 chunks of about 200mb each. great.
its still a bit long winded, but anything better than this probably comes in a box from a shop...
hope this helps0 -
big thanks to the OP. The staff were well impressed at the offer and hadn't known a thing about it :-)0

I've managed to transfer recorded tv from my media centre pc to my Vizo, but there's no sound. Can anyone help? I used Videora Ipod converter which is almost the same as PSPvideo9 I think.
I do get sound if I rip from a dvd using dvd decrypter and then using Videora.0 -

yes.... what have you got to lose, just tell them they would have known the extras cames with the vizo cos as people have been saying they arent knownigly telling people about them it seems to be only if you mention it to them. so go on go for it.... especially as you just bought it this morn0 -

Plus it tells the staff on the screen that the items come together as a package - so it is rightly yours. How much ?????????!!!0 -
Hello All,
Yes went back and got cables box and case!!! the guy who served me didnt realise, but one of the other members did know and got them! although, I got the last case they could find and they still had another 4 or 5 machines in stock - so the next person who buys will be unlucky and not get a case.
Many thanks to OP and to all!0 -
Hi,
Got two of these this morning, however neither of them seem to be charging. There is no led lit when they are plugged in, and if I turn the screens on the battery indicator isnt animated like you might see on a mobile. What do you guys see when you have it plugged in to the charger?
Also, if I push the charger cable all the way in the screen goes nuts, it seems to have to be just sitting away from the edge of the player.
Any advice?
cheers
