Hi peeps,
i now have an emergency sit and wait appointment at the dentish for 1200 :j i`ve already had 2 paracetamol so i can`t have any more just yet.
There is washing on the line and another load in atm, i just hope that the weather picks up as it`s very dull and cold here today. There is a ham hock in the slowcooker and i shall make soup later with the stock from it.
Mr Sunny set off with the houndies half an hour ago and so far he hasn`t done the usual and rung to say he is on his way back having forgotten something  i told him to make a list yesterday and it seems to have worked, in the past he has gone fishing without the bait and gone for a three nght stay in winter with no sleeping bag :rotfl: the hounds are well packed up and it seems eerily quiet here now. I shall miss them badly.
My bathroom taps are horrible, they were all limescaley when we moved in and i`ve never managed to get it all off sucessfully so i`ve been a bit naughty - i`ve taken a file from the toolbox and have filed all the nasty green stuff off ready for a good scrub lateri ruined the taps even more a while ago as i didn`t know that gold taps shouldn`t have vinegar on them :rotfl:
I tied a bag full over each tap overnight and in the morning i had black and green taps.
I may wander across to our neighbours later to borrow a drill, ours is rubbish and i need to drill some holes in the wall to put new coathooks up, Mr Sunny has been promising to do it for a while so it will be nice to get them all out of the way instead of hung over the end of the bannister.
I`m off to strip the bed now.
Happy Anniversary Donny Gal :j
Smoky - I shall keep you in my thoughts today.
Have a good one folks.
SDPlanning on starting the GC again soon0 -
:hello: Good morning! Lovely and sunny here again, though they are warning us to make the most of it before it turns cold again
Re Mother's Day - I 've warned the children that if they take any notice of the TV ad which says L'Oreal Revitalift Deep Wrinkle Cream is "the ideal Mother's Day gift" I won't be answerable for the consequences
Have just had to put the DW on again with last night's stuff in it, as I came down to find the DW tablet still sitting in its wrapper on the edge of the sink - I must have been a bit tired last night! I did look at the things that had been washed without a tablet, and some were okay but some wasn't, so on again it had to go.
Happy birthday snoozer :bdaycake: Hope you have a good day!
Smokybabe - Thinking of you and the smokelets today, huge (((((HUGS))))) to you all.
Penny_Pincher - Hope you feel a bit better today.
Katie - Same goes for you! Did you ring NHS Direct in the end?

Not sure what to make for dinner tonight - DS has the day off so he may be here for dinner, I'm thinking of turkey curry as I have one turkey breast fillet left in the freezer - it's not very big though....Oh well, we can fill up on rice:D
Hope everyone has a good day.

Morning Everyone- <<<hugs>> to everyone who needs them.
I was intending to get back into school this morning, but suddenlyfelt hideously dizzy and had to get a train and taxi home . Just set my cover work and now I'm off to bed again, on orders of DH and feline.
Hoping to feel better later- perhaps it's just because I'm so b****y tired all the time at the moment!Surviving the ups and downs of life with DH

Morning All.
Smoky - thinking of you and yours today. Remember to try to counter each moment of sadness with a happy memory.
Trazy - you're right, the more you put it off the worse you'll find it....try to go just a short distance, if you feel uncomfortable stop, bend down and fiddle with a shoelace and take long, slow, deep breaths until you are under control again, then go on a few steps further. If you need to stop, stop. Best of luck - I suspect I have been where you are now but you can beat it if you attack it now.
Dreamy sorry to hear you're still poorly - Katie hope you are much improved today. Linz - are you better?
Kathy - your move has come round so fast now, these last few days will fly and of course you'll be ready in time!
Happy St Patricks day to al wqho are celebrating.
Will be leaving to go to Ipswich for our press day for the speedway in a bit - should be a good fun day although hard work - Ill be taking pics from about 1pm until nprobably 4pm so my arms and shoulders will ache tonight! My camera with lens attached weighs about 5kg so it's good exercise!
Have got lots done this morning - WM has been on, a load of washing is already out, cereal made to take to work for breakfasts, a cupboard cleaned out and the kitchen floor swept......one or two other jobs to. Tea tonight is a stew which is in the SC as I write.

((((((((((((Smokey and the Wee Smokies)))))))))))) Lots of gentle hugs and warm thoughts for you today.
Good morning all,
Had a nice lie in until half seven this morning. I've just been sitting around drinking coffee and catching up on a few things online.
DH and I took Bree to the park yesterday for a long play of fetch. She loved it and was more than ready for a long nap when we got home again.
While we were out, we browsed some chairity shops, went to B&M and to the butcher's. I'd forgotten how good meat can really taste.Today I'll be sorting it and freezing most of it. Roast dinner tonight as we were late getting in yesterday.
Today will be another lazy day as DH is on holiday all this week. We spoke with DD last night and she is feeling somewhat better now that she is home. She is still on pain meds but they've not figured a cause for it all yet. Just one of those things that one may never know. They have done a number of tests and ruled out most things. Poor kidlet of ours.
Off now to get the veg prepped for our roast dinner tonight. Have a good day all.
Peyton xxTake the first step.
Even if you cannot see the whole staircase,
Just take the first step.

Morning:wave:
It was lovely and sunny here but seems to have gone a bit dull now., its dry though, hope it stays that way.....
The GAS board dug a big hole at the top of our drive a couple of days ago,and told us they would need access to our property yesterday, had no need to go out anyway so no problem.
They didnt need access yesterday but they do today, the bottom has fallen out of the main gas pipe for the road so we now have a bigger hole in our drive
They came and turned the gas off at 7:45 this morning, and will come and turn it back on whenever!!!! Never mind, its a good job they decided to renew all the pipes otherwise it could have been really dangerous.
OH has gone to his Mums, I have rung my Mum to tell her I wont be over this morning, I will catch up on her housework another day.
Smokey and LO's - I will be thinking of you all today xx
Sunnyday - ooo toothache is awful seems to affect the whole head doesnt it, hope all goes well later.

Good morning
Happy St Patrick's Day !!! (you'd think they might have remembered the banner after the fiasco at the beginning of the month:rolleyes:)
Happy Birthday snoozer:bdaycake:
Special gentle ((((((hugs)))))))) for smoky and littlies. It will be hard, but you've done so well to get here. Hope there are smiles as well as tears today.
It's another glorious day today, so line dried washing is on again:T Like most of us, I adore the smell of line dried washing. Why oh why do fabric conditioner manufacturers insist on making stuff they claim, "smells outdoor fresh" It doesn't!! Only outdoors smells of outdoors, and the first to be able to bottle that will make an absolute killing:D Can you tell this is a bee in my bonnet?:o
Making a couple of vats of curry and chili today. All the portions have gone from the freezer, and they are such good staples. In between stirring them I shall wash out the fridgefreezer, tidy it all up, and make a new freezer inventory. I'm very good ( well sometimes:o) at crossing off what we've used. DH isn't :rotfl:
ivyleaf, with regards to Mother's Day presents, I'm with youDH has just told me he got an email from Tool Station () with the subject line "forgot Mother's Day? " Don't even think about it..........................:rotfl:Luckily my boys will tend to go traditional. Flowers, choccies, books, DVDs, or CDs. Any of those will do for me:D
You never get a second chance to make a first impression.0 -
