    Morning all

Aussie - enjoy the soapnuts - i cold ocme over and show you if you like but you'll have to pay my travel expences and my consultancy fees are quite high :)

    Happy anniversary donny

thinking of smoky too today - big hugs

As for the perfect gentleman - well we'll see - what would be ideal for me would be someone free every alternate Daddy weekend unless Brentford have a big home game and other than that will let me toddle off on my own the rest of the time - see i'm not fussy

Today i'm going to try to persuade the older dd's that the perfect mother's day pressie would be for them to get their bf's to paint the hall and stairs - I've done it as far as i can reach but am scared of heights a bit so there's no way i'm going to balance on a platformy thing - other than that i only really want a ladle and they're complaining that I'm being awkward.

tea tonight will be a pasta and sauce cheat - CBA today and really really need to sow some seeds. Got dd's optician after w*rk as well - busy busy!

    have good days
I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 2008

    Happy birthday Snoozer!

Happy St Patrick's Day everyone. [STRIKE]I am disappointed that the picture of Martin isn't decorated to mark the day [/STRIKE] edit to that Martin has redeemed himself and he has a tasteful Irish hat on :rotfl:- he forgot about St.David's Day this year as well....

Smoky - I'm thinking of you and your family today. It must still be so hard for you.

Today's a public holiday over here - not that it makes a lot of difference as I'm not wo*king right now - but there are various parades and free street celebrations on so I might have a little dander into town to have a look. (Eggnog, aka Eoghan Quinn from X Factor is doing a free gig in Belfast city centre....not that you'll be able to hear him over the squealing girls). No green beer for me though. Well maybe a very modest sized Bailey's may slip down this evening.

    Bye for now all.

    Morning :hello:

    Happy Birthday Snoozer :bdaycake:

I met my mum in town yesterday for a quick coffee - left the house at 10.30 and got back at 4 :rotfl: There were lots of people about but no-one was buying much (I had a nosey at people at the tills :D ) but the coffee shops were packed.

Master tru has just announced that he's going to Amsterdam for his 19th birthday next month. Probably wants to spend all his time in the coffee shops. I'm not worried about this because he's overlooked one little fact that I'm not reminding him of - he hasn't got a passport :D

It's been just over a week since I've done anything OS. No-one's complained about the food  though I'm cooking a cheapy chicken today so it'll be interesting to see what they make of it. I'm beginning to think I've shot myself in the foot here, buying the value version of everything has actually worked out more expensive  I'm itching make a decent cake but I won't, there are perfectly rubbish value chocolate swiss rolls in the cupboard :D

Got the doc's at 3pm, til then I'll do not a lot :D

That's not awkward - that's being thoughtful & saving them the bother of working out what to give you :D

Good morning :D I wasn't on yesterday at all as I had a migraine so ended up staying in bed with the curtains drawn for most of the day. Up this morning though & have spent the last hour sorting the kitchen out from the mess it was left in  Hope everyone is okay I'll read through the threads in a while.

A lovely day again so the washing is on the line. Hoping to get a couple of hours in the garden sorting out the frost damaged plants too. Spag Bol for tea with salad & garlic bread.

Seeing my parents later as Dad & I have joined the Daily Telegraph's Fantasy Fund Manager game. It's educational for me as I'm not very clued up on bonds & equities :rotfl: and I haven't seen my Dad as animated since he had his stroke. We're 'opening our office' this morning and choosing our funds after much deliberation over the weekend.

Hope everyone has a good day & (((((((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))))))) where needed.

Thoughts going to Smokeybabe and the children *HUGS*

Well, yesterday I managed to clean the whole kitchen.... I know I was going for the kitchen and front room but its a start :p

Today I am working on the front room, going for clean and presentable so I can get into the nitty gritty next week on the fly lady thread :D Have a man coming out to fix my washing machine later on this morning - weather looking nice here so am hoping to get some out on the line late on.

Tonights tea is sausage casserole and might try and do a bit of baking with DS later on.

Have a great day all - happy St Patrick's day all
