Morning all, even less time being spent here again. Got lots of calls made yesterday and replies to emails re Youth ORchestra visit. Will be glad when it's sorted out.

Dinner last night was easy, but now the whole house stinks of fish. Mr M had smoked coley, which we tried instead of smoked haddock and it was nice. Bread and butter and cheese sauce. Maybe not the ideal balanced meal, but tasty.

Tonight ds doesn't have performance at school and he would like sausages. In the freezer so easily done.

Last night went to sewing club and got some of my projects kick started again. Might try and do some more after work today. Working over the middle of the day 11-3, so bit of a nuisance time wise. Never mind, pays the bills.

Hope you're all well, lovely and sunny here which lifts the spirits. Did dog walk with friend and her puppy yesterday, which was nice. WOn't manage today, but will try tomorrow morning.

(((smoky))) thinking of you and the children today xxx

Sunnyday - enjoy your time to yourself, hope you get the toothache sorted x

    Happy Birthday snoozer:beer:

Back to work today - am quite looking forward to seeing my workmates after a week off. DH went back yesterday and his back is playing up again - he has a couple of prolapsed discs that cause pain and sciatica, most of the time he can cope but occasionally it gets a bit overwhelming. He's only working a short day today and will be home by 9am so he's promised to have a day of rest - he wont like it as he'll be itching to get in the garden to finish work on his new aviary.

OS wise - washing nearly ready to hang out. Dinner for the family is cottage pie from the freezer, I'm having mine at work.

DS1 has got a job at weekends DJ-ing at a Worcester club so he told me last night but havent got many details out of him yet.

Hope you all enjoy your day x

Good morning everyone! Hope all is well today!

The sun is shining and i am happy happy happy! :D:D:D

Made some nice leek and potato soup last night so that will do nicely for tea tonight. Must must must do the ironing tonight - its starting to creep up again after my 3 hour marathon last week. :o

Need to start thinking seriously about the garden and what i want to do with it this year. Im a bit of a novice and never seem to be able to pick the right plants/position, etc. I'll battle on tho! Cant wait to be able to sit out and have tea on the decking! One of my favourite things in life - al fresco!

Im new to the thread and have yet to get to know you all a bit better, but HUGS and BEST WISHES to everyone! Have a lovely day! :j

Stefejb - I used to live in Brentford! But I was a rugby fan so was always at Twickenham.

    Happy birthday snoozer

Cold and frosty here but starting to thaw and could well be another line drying day. Already did a wash overnight so that's ready to go on the line right now.

Managed to get ALLL of the beds dug over yesterday in the kitchen garden and boy! Can the back of my legs feel it now :D But really happy with my progress on that front.

Was greeted this morning by a vomiting chicken when I opened the coop door so now I know what is wrong with her - she has a digestive thrush infection, so I'm off this morning to get an anti-fungal to cure that. Hopefully I'm not too late, as she hasn't eaten for some time because of it.

Off to put a couple of lots into a local auction this morning, and then I'm back to the auction this afternoon to see if there's anything interesting. Got a beautiful watercolour of sweetpeas in a vase last time for the princely sum of £3.

Hubby has specifically requested pizza and chips tonight so have agreed to turn the oven on. Worked out that for the last five days I have cut our gas consumption by an average of two thirds and will pay about £1.15 per day. Normal use I'd be paying 3-4 times that amount. Very chuffed :D

    Have a lovely day everyone

    Morning all,
I have a line of bedding out on the line, it's a beautifull day here. I collected more washing from DD2 last night. I have forgotten how much washing a tiny baby can produce. Charlotte (Lottie) is getting into a 3hr feeding routine so DD2 is not so tired.

I've made toad in the hole for dinner already as I need to spend the day gardening.

SMOKY, I will be thinking of you and your children today and hoping that happy memories will take over the sadness, hope all of our positive love and thoughts will help you get through today. x

    (((((((((((((((((((Smoky and your little ones))))))))))))))))

Its a bit dull this morning, a change from yesterday....not sure what the forecast is for the day.

Have a friend coming for a coffee this morning, need to go and get myself showered and dressed.

Trip to the post office to post another letter to the travel insurance people and a parcel with the boleros and ring cushion in........sewing machine is being packed away later today. I have to get the steps to get the lid down from the top of the wardrobe.

Nothing really planned for today except putting a load of washing in, the laundry basket is overflowing....I did nothave a full load of light cottons last week, so will have to have a sort out......OH is on his last pair of jama's.

We have deviated from the menu list quite a bit this month, so I have to sort something out for tonight. I have a gammon joint, I might thaw it out and cook that for tomorrow.

Off for my second mug of coffee...................

Ivyleaf Most of the oil spill has been cleaned up. It was dreadful. It wasn't near us but the damage done to wildlife was awful.

Off to shower & hit the sack. I've got a headache tonight. :D Byeeeeeeeee
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

    I've been Money Tipped!
Trazy - I struggle to get out of the house with little bear. Oddly I'm fine by myself but last summer I couldn't get to a building that I could see from my window to get anti depressants. My biggest successes have been to put everything in place that I would need (little bear's coat etc) and then just go on the spur of the moment. I don't have time to fret about it that way. Whatever suits you, I hope you manage to find a way to get out. Thinking of you.

Little bear has eaten my breakfast, but he still under the weather. Yesterday was a bit tiring, I expect today to be no different. However, just to add to the stress levels, today I am going to cook up lots of the carrot soups for dear heart, because I had a delivery yesterday and if I don't get it sorted then the food will go off. So he will have lots of 'gloat point' meals in the freezer. Also a casserole. Anything else that I manage is a bonus.

    Hugs to all.
