why is it so quiet job wise?

job stuff does seem to take time....its been almost 3 months now since I was made redundant & am only just getting interviews...the latest one for a job I'd given up on!

so hang in there & take it day by day

why thank you lurker! much appreciated. good luck with ur job interviews - hope it works out.

well just been food shopping at morrisons - cupboards were getting bare. grim grim grim... i have gone from someone who buys branded premium food - what ever we wanted was no problem. now we did a weeks food shopping for £41 - shame of it - i just wanted to cry - woman at till then said oh have you had a voucher book? and gave us one and said we got another £4 off so it came to £37 pounds. i used to spend about £200 a week on shopping - no longer though.

right o - more ringing round - plumber and gas man coming round later - we have 5* gas care on all electrics and plumbing.. .hurrah! getting a leak fixed for free - about time too!

    catch up later x

  • Hi again

Also, totally understand about the shopping, I think our spending patterns were very similar . One of the difficult things for me is having the kids' friends round, it was more or less an open house and now I have to say no more often as I can't feed them all! Things like that I never even thought about before, but really have to now.

    All the best
