blimey.. now got a 2nd interview for that job i went for last week. the money is really low - what should i do? go for it? i dont think it would be low for ever but in short term it is...? plus means if i start in the school hols i would pay for child care assuming OH has a job by then which means i will earn about £4 an hr. help!
I don't know your SOA well enough but I would be thinking about
Do I need this job right now - with the phone calls you've made already can you stay afloat? Or is the job going to improve things for you later? Is getting to grips with a new job going to add to stress or relieve it by letting you 'do your thing' whilst contributing to the pot?
I think if OH has his head pulled out of the sand and just opened up re the business, this would relieve alot of the pressure on you - maybe you and the kids / family / friends / folks off the street can make a human chain and just pull him like the Enormous Turnip story?!?
Your kids are great and a credit to you both - does OH know what they've done to help?
Sorry - a load of questions probably doesn't help much. We went through similar questions a while ago - different circumstances etc but essentially it came down to knowing when to STOP and get right back down to basics about what we wanted for us as a family- then it was easier to let go of the rest (hope that doesn't sound preachy). Wishing you well x

Now that your joint income has dropped so much, will you be entitled to working tax credit? This has a childcare element to it, so that might help with the decision making? Is it a job that you will be able to fit free lance work around, to bump up your income to pay for childcare.
Ref the childcare, could grand parents help out even if just for these summer holidays. Course this would mean coming clean about the debt and the business.....
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

That's lots of great news. Well done for making the calls and to OH for finding such a brilliant job so fast.
Will you take the job you've got 2nd interview for if he's working away from home or does that let you stay freelancing?:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0 -

I don't think the childcare tax credit will work for you this year as your previous earnings were too high already.
