But unfortunately, you can't do that because of your debts.
You definitely haven't hit rock bottom, because if you had, you would've cut your store cards up... never mind spending £10 on one of them. Like I said before, perhaps you need to look at why you spend the money you do. You said yourself that you have an addictive personality... this could work in your favour. Get addicted to paying off your debt instead of spending and then get addicted to saving
There is some good advice on all of your threads, but no one can help you if you aren't willing to help yourself and frankly, as harsh as it may sound, you aren't doing yourself any favours chicky.
Are you being really honest with the SOA you posted here?

The £10 you spent on your dress is half of what you said you spent on clothes a month.
When going to University, the last thing you need to be worrying about is where the next meal is coming from and you could really get in a tangle with credit.
So i'll only have my wages coming in, and right now £350 is way more that i'll be getting if things keep going the way they are, i'm only getting 9 hours a week, which works out at only £216 a monthI'm hopinh to get some more hours.
I applied for a bunch of jobs yesterday, and got a phone call today for an interview tomorrow, for Benefit!!! So i have my fingers crossed for that, its full time over summer! So hoping i can do that and still manage 9 hours over the weekend in morrisons.
I also got the form for a hardship fund today, filled it out and handed it back in, so fingers crossed for that one too!0 -
Got my last student loan in this morning
Paid £40 to Kays, £32 phone bill and £17 to Dorothy Perkins card and £15 to New Look card

It's good that you know what money you have coming in. It's just the money out you need to keep an eye onlittlepinkstars44 wrote: »I applied for a bunch of jobs yesterday, and got a phone call today for an interview tomorrow, for Benefit!!! things haven't been too bad this week, i've paid minimum payments to everything.
I haven't been near mac, shock!
And i bought some essencials (socks, shoes, deoderant, razors etc) from primark and boots. And i have a grand total of £36 left in the bank. and waiting for £11.50 from Paypal to go into my bank.
Have realised that i dont need to buy a week ticket for the bus next week, as im only going to been in college Mon and Wed just for my last exam and to hand an essay in, so woo hoo!
And then thats the end of college!
Still only getting 9 hours in workwhich means £261 a month wages, which is really not going to even cover rent, my phone bill and travel. Nevermind paying off debts

I've applied for loads of call centers.
Apparently the benefit job, wasnt asctually for benefit!!0 -
So, not updated for a wee while.
I passed all my exams, so thats college finished for me! I got my B i needed in my graded unit, so thats me def off to uni in September now, woo hoo!
Got paid yesterday, and i paid all my minimum payments on everything. I made a wee deal with myself, i bought the sims 3. But i said to myself if i buy this, then i am not spending anymore money on myself this month!
Because its the summer holidays for me now, plus from Monday i'm on holiday from work for 2 weeks as well. And when i'm bored, thats when i usually spend! So i'm hoping instead i'll have the sims to keep me from spending!
I'm planning on spending my two weeks organising EVERYTHING in my room. And listing what i don't need/use on ebay, for some extra cash!0 -
When I left uni last year with a debt of about 3 grand (all on 0% ODs) I made myself a pact to be debt free by Dec 31 of that year, it really encouranged me and even though I was unemployed untill November I managed to pay all of it off (even though, even now they are still 0%).
Why dont you set yourself a time scale instead of just putting on whats left over after you live quite 'well' over the week/month?Aim - BUYING A HOUSE  by November 2013!Saved = 100% on 03/07/12 :j0
