  • So today was pretty good. Done half of my ironing, will do the rest tomorrow.
And managed to tidy my room...well kind of, it's a bit of a mess again to be honest.

Worked 5-10 tonight, walked there and got a lift home, so no money spent on bus fares!
Day off tomorrow, planning on listing some more stuff on Ebay. Was originally planning on going out tomorrow night, but i am now doing a 9 hour shift on Saturday and i would rather keep what money i have at the moment for a gig i am going to next week.

Mum's birthday on the same day as the gig!!!! I bought her a card and a half price mini me to you bear a few days ago...grand total of £4. She told me not to even bother with a card...but it's my mum y'know and she looks after me and feeds me, had put up with me for 22 years....and all that good stuff.

So instead of going out, going round to my bestie's (which will soon hopefully be my wee flat too, well if i can sort out if i can actually afford to or not) for dinner and a bottle of wine, then gonna stay there as it's across the road from our work.

Went to checouts tonight to get my shifts for next week, they had no idea i was meant to be moving there next week! Great, so i have no idea whats going on, neither does my bestie (also supervisor) so spoke to Duty Manager and asked him, he also had no idea i was moving!!! So he is going to speak to the other Duty Manager tomorrow (the one who told me i had to move) and see whats happening. To be honest i think they are just trying to keep me and my bestie apart...meh

Anyways i'm off to catch up with Eastenders, take my make up off and get into bed
  • Cannot believe its half 2 already! I only got up 2 hours ago!!!!

Anyways havent done much of anything yet today, going to phone the bank and see if my account has been changed to a graduate account yet, its not meant to be but when i got my student account, i was only planning on doing my 2 year hnd. And now i'm off to uni.
But can't prove that to the bank till september, so am i so scared they will change my account before then, as they said they would do it july sometime
  • great...my mobile's been cut off. Had to use the house phone.

Anyway my account hasn't been changed it, but was told it will be in the next 2 weeks, meaning i will be getting charged for my account until they can change it back to a student account in September

Can't they just change it t a normal current account where you don't get charged? I hate that, why should banks charge you when they have your money!!!

I don't know, apparently it's changing to a graduate account as i am finished uni (so the letter says)
I havent even started uni yet!!! But they said to go into a branch with my acceptance letter for uni, but i don't have one.
As i had a conditional offer, i had to pass my hnd (done) get a B in my graded unit (done) and go to a summer school programme for a week...which is in September the week before uni starts.

So i wont have met all the conditions of the offer until i actually finish the summer school programme, and only then will i actually be accepted into the course.

So until then...according to the bank they can't help me :(

Sounds like you are getting lots of extra hours at work which is good!
Sorry to hear about the trouble your having with your bank - i am in the process of changing to another bank as mine are driving me crazy at the minute, they are useless!!

  • Well i was, but i have now moved dept...as of yesterday. I worked 4-8:30 last night and i'm not in again till Saturday!!

I hate the checkouts, i hate it so much!!!! I want to go back to my wee cafe, i miss it, i miss my friends, my cute wee uniform...god i even miss cleaning the coffee machines!

So today i am meeting my bestie when she finishes at 3 (god i better get a move on and get ready!, especially as i have to walk down, and it tkes 45mins!)
Going for a coffee, the post office and back to hers for dinner.
  • Today started off good. I walked to work to meet the bestie when she finished. Went for a coffee (she paid for) Had a wee wander around the shops.
Only bought bleach (for my hair) 99p from Sallys (mums a hairdresser so trade discount) and some black hair dye from Superdrug £3.00.

Then went back to hers for dinner, she let me borrow a couple of books...then walked home.
    Honestly...all that walking!!!!

So i bleached my roots at my wee pink bit tonight, and i also bleached my fringe :) and then dyed it pink! So now i have 2 random pink bits in my hair!
Couldn't be bothered to do my black though...as i had to bleach my fringe like 3 times to lift the black out. And it took soooo long and my head itched like crazy, so gonna touch up my roots tomorrow i think.

Then gonna tidy up and put stuff aside to list on ebay, i can't list it just yet, as i can't afford to post anything. I don't even think i can afford to post the stuff i have listed right now :s
I have £25 to last me 3 weeks. And a gig on Wed night!

Why are you saying you cannot afford to list because you cannot afford to post?

Surely the buyer of the things you are selling, pays you enough to cover the postage. They pay you BEFORE you send them, so you always have the money to pay the postage
