Maybe it is worth looking ahead when you have things on ebay, i.e rather than spending £3.00 on hair dye you could spend that £3.00 on postage and then buy the hair dye when the funds have cleared from the buyer?

It doesn't look like you can afford to go to a gig on Wednesday night to me!

Why are you saying you cannot afford to list because you cannot afford to post?

Surely the buyer of the things you are selling, pays you enough to cover the postage. They pay you BEFORE you send them, so you always have the money to pay the postage

yeah, but the money takes a week to transfer into my bank through paypal. So instead of waiting a whole week, i usually just post them before the money has cleared.

Yeah but i really needed to do my hair for going out on Wed.
My friend bought us the tickets months ago. It'a actually gonna be ok, shes gonna pay for my drinks and i'll treat her to a night out next month
  • So today did not go to plan at all...got woken up at 11 by the bestie almost crying on the phone to me. 2 people phoned in sick, she has phoned everyone that can work the kitchen and none of them would come in. Her last resort was me....(and it really was, as she had to ask the store manager if she could get me to come in, as i don't work in the cafe anymore...and they don't want us working together anymore)

So i ended up doing a 1-8...pouring rain all day so had to get the bus there and back £1.15 each way. And buy lunch £1.70.

Then my mum came to see me on my break to tell me she's booked a holiday for her n my wee brother for a week in Turkey....ON THURSDAY!!!!
    I am so jealous!

And mentioned that not only is it her birthday tomorrow (which i knew about) but it's also her and my stepdads anniversary!!! AHHH Totally forgot about that, so had to buy them card £2.49.

So i have like £20ish left...gonna try n borrow a tenner of my grandpa

Tell me to mind my own business if you like, but i thought your mum was really struggling with debt as well and thats why she couldnt lower your rent for you - despite the fact you cant afford it.
Now she is going on holiday, doesnt really seem fair that she can afford to do that but not even reduce your rent by say £20 a month. Maybe you could talk to her about it again?

Great news though that you have done so many extra hours!! Think of payday, it will be worth it!

my stepdad paid for most of it for her, as a birthday pressent. And she borrowed £100 off my grandpa for spending money...so i dunno really
  • So the gig on Wed night was amazing!!! Honestly. My bestie spent £140 on the two of us

she bought me a t-shirt and food, and drink after drink...lol! After the gig we went to the pub and ended up meeting the band!!!!! Then went to a club. Ended up back at hers at 4am! lol, awesome night though!

Came back last night to a rather empty house (my mums on her holibags) Dunno what to do...

Day off work again today, gonna try and get all my ironing done as i have about 5 washing loads to do...then i'm gonna try and get all my mums and brothers washing all done for them, before they come back from holiday.

Made £15 on ebay yesterday, have transfered it to my bank...thank god cause i only have £11 left and i have to post stuff with that today.
  • So today i went down to the post office and posted ebay things and one book i sold on Amazon...£9 altogether (that was 2nd class as well) Also posted off things to music magpie, so hopefully get a wee cheque for £5 from them next week.

Emptied all my coppers into the coinstar machine in morrisons...came to £3.33 so got that as well. So have like £4 odds at the moment. Until next week, £15 from ebay and £5 from music magpie..which is alright i guess.

Phoned doctors to get my prescription, picking it up on mon. Then got apt with the nurse for tuesday.

All i've got left to do is tidy up and ironing now. It's so quiet without my mum and little brother here...i feel abandoned!
  • Still havent done any ironing...though i need my uniform for work tomorrow.

Spoke to my mum earlier, its roasting in Turkey apparently!

:eek:Am i right on thinking you are paying her back for this??
You really cannot afford to spend £70 on a night out when you can barely afford to pay your other debts.
Sorry if this seems harsh but you seem to be getting extra hours at work but not budgeting the extra money to your debts.

Hope you managed to get your ironing done!
