I've done this before, with a petrol station job. I said that I'd assumed the receipt was in the bag but when I got home, it wasn't there. I took a photo of the bag, and the items I'd purchased, and said I could send it to them if necessary. I didn't have to send it, and I got paid without them so much as querying it.

I used to forget a receipt quite often when I first started, and now I ask for one automatically, everywhere!!

Thanks, that a relief. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

    I haven't the faintest idea:confused:

I have emailed them to find out and typically they have ignored me

I would accept it if I had done anything wrong or they had explained why. Until then, I think they suck.

I'm not ganging up on you and I didn't think I was being sarcastic, unhelpful or nasty. If I've upset you I am very sorry :o

I was just saying, in my opinion (which I'm allowed to have) that Gap are pretty good.

What I do find strange, however, is that you have only been with them for 3 weeks and yet you say "Typically they have ignored me" , how many other times in these 3 weeks have you contacted them and had them ignore you?

Actually ... I've just had a thought ... have you contacted the UK office? They don't like you doing that, and people have been sacked for doing it.

Thank you, I feel upset today by being dropped.

I am glad you have found them OK.

I have never contacted them direct until today to ask why they sacked me. I am aware some companies don't like direct contact, tho' I don't know why.

I am not aware of doing anything to deserve this. I am mystified (excuse the pun) and wanted to warn and ask people if it has happened to them.

If I have done anything wrong, I would like to be told politely, so I can learn from it.

I say typical they ignore me because these companies think they don't have to be polite and reply to people.

LOL I've actually got a query about Gap now! Just expressed an assignment, and my IE locked out before I had a chance to send them the receipt. I've got the confirmation email that they've received the results, should I email them the receipt or just wait until they ask for it?

If you go to My Assignments there should be a link there for you to upload the receipt. You know they'll ask for it sonner rather than later so you might as well send it now lol x

What are you putting in the spreadsheet? I thought they just add things up, can you put dates in then. I have been putting things in a diary and am running out of room, any tips please.

    Hi anika,

If you PM your email address I'll send you a copy of the spreadsheet.

I see the underground ones. Sadly none in my area-I loooove their food.
Be careful with the posh sarnies-I accepted one and then saw they are only open Mon-Fri which isn't helpful for a Sat/Sun only scenario.

Most of them are open 7 days, unless you got one at a station in the city of London, otherwise can't think why one would be shut on a weekend
