If she's never been to your new house then it is customary with a close friend to show them round. She might ask for a guided tour (or go to the bathroom and have a nose around herself) then think how embarassed you'd feel if some rooms were off limits because you hadn't tidied up! I'd go with the tidy up, clean but not immaculate look. Leave some books and papers around and fresh flowers always make a place look good.

If you make it immaculate, you will always have to make it immaculate for when she comes round, or even if she pops in unexpectedly.

    Hello

embb sorry to hear about Violet, must have been quite a shock for you (((hugs)))

Hugs to Rose, Tag & Phil hope things improve soon

The sun is shining here today, I have done a little decluttering, online banking, had a delivery from Mr. S.

Have to admit to being very tired & sore though, had my clinic appt. yesterday....lots of prodding & poking ughhhhh, the upshot is they will monitor my lymph nodes for the next 3 months, then decide on radiotherapy, so at least I don't have to have it straight away. But being an agressive cancer it is likely to reoccur, so I will take one day at a time.

Special love & thanks to Mudbath & her DD....you know why xx

Toots how are you bearing up today honey? xx

    Have a good afternoon folks

    xx

    4. HHI Started but not finished. Did about 10 minutes. Will do some more later.
Ran 2.5 miles last night and going swimming tonight too so feeling quite fit. Was a bit disappointed with my time last night though. I was aiming for 10 minute miles and it worked out at 10.45 minute miles instead. Doesn't sound like much difference but I really want to do the 10K in May in 1 hour 5 minutes or less. Think I'll find out what days the free creche is on at the leisure centre and I might be able to fit in a training session on the treadmill as well.

LL...Sending you feeling better vibes. Get lots of rest today.

ETA: Sorry embb forgot to send my condolences for Violet. DD2's middle name is Violet too.

Ooops...speaking of DD2...she just fell out of bed. She's fine, I think it just shocked her a bit. She's safely deposited back into bed after a nice cuddle.

LL that's really positive news from the consultant ~behave lymph nodes~ being sent your way.

embb always sad when anyone passes away.

Back from seeing michelle, the boys have both grown so much already. Her DS2 is almost a year old already, where did that time go to!

Just been in the shower and washed my hair ready for cutting this afernoon. Been doing a bit of decluttering in the lounge while watching neighbours.
