    Well done twinmummy!

This will work. I do this too for DH (girls and I are veggie) and throw carrots, leeks, onion and anything else in to make chicken soup. I usually put in a few whole peppercorns too and fish them out at the end.

DS2's brace fitted and he is now finding out what he can eat easily.

I managed to plant 12 potatoes before I went. So one variety done, one to do - tomorrow now though.

Need to pop to the corner shop to get a few bits as it is DS3's year group cake sale tomorrow.

Flying in Spain this week, I'm doing better than when I'm at home!!!
Done more baking in last two days than I have in years. Had to translate 'plain flour' before I could go to the shop & buy some, unfortunately they appear to have a different translation to me :rotfl: Quiche now baking, but I think I've boo boo'd, (cooker is also in Spanish & calor gas, I'm used to an electric oven, had to translate dials as no instruction manual), realised I've had oven on 'turbo', so not sure how long I should really be cooking for, now taken it off turbo as I presume that will use more gas & haven't a clue how to change gas bottle if it runs out. (I can feel a disaster coming on).
Sorry I haven't had to chance to catch up with what is happening, so hugs to those who need them, birthday wishes to anyone with a birthday & healthy vibes for anyone under the weather.

E-cloths (original microfibre and glass polishing cloths) are half price in Waitrose at the moment at £2.50.

They are much better quality than the wilko type ones which is great for things like cleaning the hob when a thicker cloth is a benefit.

Doing quite well with the lists today, i've also brought in the recycling box and steeped it in disinfectant/hot water/washing-up liquid cause it's lived in the shed for years and has never been done, it's now going to live in my porch come utility room till the shed is converted. Done the windows in both alloted rooms and the front door.....mopped, hoovered and tidied some more.
