Am getting there - slowly but surely......babysteps babysteps.
I did so much in my garden on saturday and sunday that I filled, my own garden-waste bin, my neighbours, and one of the other neighbours up the street!!! Had no where else to put anymore rubbish so I gave up at that point. I still have lots to do but it looks SOOOOOOO much better than it did! :T
The bin will be emptied tomorrow so Im hoping that I can get home early enough and the weather stays nice enough and perhaps I can do some when I get home one night after work. But then I dont know - I might be better concentrating on flying in the week and pray for another nice weekend, and do the gardening then - hopefully! Its forecast to be nice Friday and Saturday so heres hoping!
Its really lovely here today and Im really hating being stuck in the office - there is a petrol station not far from here, am going to go there at lunchtime and clean my car! Get another thing off my list! :j
love'n'hugs to all xxxSometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying

Hope you all feel better soon Rose, Tag and LikkleGibbon (+ anyone else I have missed)
Been very busy over the past couple of days- wifey spent ages decluttering the Dining Room yesterday so that's looking really good. I did the hall & stairs and I was on the stress course in the afternoon- so have been playing catchup.
So far today- took the dog for a 3 mile walk, cleaned wm, swept and washed floors in kitchen, downstairs toilet & bathroom as well as surfaces / tiles etc. Just the ensuite to do and then will get on with the lounge which is also looking better after I tackled 'The Sock Mountain of Doom  '. DW wants to go and have a look at a material shop later but isn't feeling 100%.
I heard from the union yesterday who said the LA is playing hardball and claiming the insurance company is refusing to pay for my illness/absence. Not too sure about that as I only sent in the medical permission form last week but I have contacted the school to see what is going on. Just want it all finished so I can start getting my life back together and start looking for another job. Still feel very much in limbo but am forcing myself to go to different places. Part of the course yesterday was about avoidance- which is what I have been doing- withdrawing from friends, avoiding places where I could run into people that I know. It's very hard and has given me panic attacks in the past as my self confidence has completely gone but by forcing myself to go to the places it is gradually getting easier.
Going to have a cup of tea, try and catch up on thread and then finish the ensuite. Hugs to all that need them.

:grouphug: At least we know we're not alone now mOZzy. DH and I are going through the mill a bit at the mo. Well, since last October actually. He lost his job = money worries= no jobs to be had at all where we are at the mo = more money worries = stress, stress and more flippin stress.
BUT IT WILL NOT LAST FOREVER!!!!!!!!!! See PMA - positive mental attitude;)
yep, not alone ... not alone ...
i blame the stress too! we are trying to emigrateand have started the whole process feb 2007 - we've got the visa last august and are stuck now with the house which we can't sell
- and i hate limboland! all this waiting .... and waiting .... and waiting ....
i hope your OH gets a job really soon - that should help your problems at least a bit!! maybe retraining is the way to go??
likklegibbon if it was just kids i guess you get used to it! - they've only recently started to sleep through properly but then other problems sneak up on you - but i guess that's the same for everyone really. just different people cope differently .. and i tend to wake and think about all these things
i really need to do something now. OH has taken dd to homebase to get the carpet tiles swapped for the 'right' ones .. he picked the wrong colour the other day
so time now to get on with things ..
HHC 12.15 anyone?!?!?

Fedup - try mixing equal amounts of baking soda, soda crystals and borax and giving the pan a good scrub. As with ovens, the clean-up may be a gradual process. On the outside try cream of tartar mixed with enough lemon juice to make a paste. Wipe on then polish off. You can also clean with neat white vinegar. Hopefully one of these ideas will work!
Oven cleaning - have just come across this one, which may be worth a try - 225ml vinegar mixed with 30g washing powder (assume non-bio!). Heat oven for 5 mins to 350 degrees, spread paste on oven, paying attention to greasy areas, leave for an hour. Scrape off with plastic spatula. Wipe with a damp cloth. Final wipe should be with a cloth soaked in vingar. To prevent build-up of grease wipe after use with vinegar-soaked cloth!
Thank you so much for this advice!I've written it down to go in my new household cleaning manual I have just started (actually it is the first thing to do in after the flylady lists!
)
I have soaked it in white viengar and hot water and also soda crystals and hot water (not at the same time!)
I've wiped the outside with a tiny bit of olive oil and polished with a microfibre cloth and it looks great, lovely and shiny!
I have cream of tartar in the cupboard and you've given me a use for it now! I'll try this method next time or tomorrow!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -

Hi guys
Got to my first customers house this morning....no answer....curtains closed (uh oh) ...... she'd diedI had to go round 3 neighbours to get the story and confirmation, she was by herself and the police had to break the door down to get to her, she was still alive but died in hospital
at least she wasn't alone I couldn't bare that....... then had to phone the office cause they didn't know either. Violet was funny and so full of life, and she'd had a heck of a one, RIP lovely x
So, my other two jobs have been brought forward so I'll be finished approx 2.30 today - done 1 job already. My washing is dry....SC is cooking away....will do my lists when I get back in.0
