Article written. Just need to nip out in a moment and take a photo. I've managed to tie the excerpt from the old guide book neatly in with a recent news item about how the hotel the guide book mentioned has been closed under 'crack laws'. So I'll scrap the scan of the postcard and use the photo instead!

Quillion ~ I don't have any answers for you, but maybe you should ring ACAS and ask for advise.

Lil me ~ glad Hubby has helped out and done all that work.

I have been outside, lawns all cut, moss killer on grass, cut round whole garden and removed all dead leaves etc from last year. (tadpoles are still there and seem alive!)

    Planted cauli and cabbage seeds.

Oh asked me last year to grow beans for him, so I bought broad beans, planted the seeds, today, I get asked by OH what type of beans I have planted. told him, to get, but I don't eat those!!!

So we went out, he selected bean seeds for a type he does eat, these are runner beans, and I have planted these.

So depending on germination, I might have some small broad beans plants free for some one to grow on, they will need tall canes or a net to grow up.

My grass now looks all nice and level even if it is full of moss!!.

    Declutter baked spud for lunch.

    Wash 2 windows outside

I have posted this on another board but not had any replies and i was hoping one of you fantastic ladies or gents can shed me a little light.

As you all know I am in an affected pool of this round or redundancies and as i work part time i think it wil be me.
Our company don't do the finish friday get your redundancy money, they pay you this over three months on garden leave then give you whats left after the garden leave is up. You can be made to work the three months.
If i were to get another job in the mean time the payments would then stop.

Does anyone else's work do this?

Very confused due to lack of sleep worrying about job money bills etc.

But at least i have a nice clean house if i have to sell it

When OH was made redundant he was put on garden. He was told he was being made redundant in Nov. but would not offically take place until 31 Dec. in between he didn't go into work and received no money from them at all. All wages & redundancy pay were given in one cheque at the end of Jan. not brilliant when Piper was only a tiny baby and having the 2 boys too.

Hope everyone is having a lovely mothering sunday.

Not having a great day so I'm off back to bed. It's took me till now to realise what a horrid individual I am.

    Whats the matter funfairprincess?

We've been to my nephew's 7th birthday party this morning then DH has gone to the football (so much for a restful mothers day!). So me and my two friends are meeting at the park with all the kids. Friend 1 (F1)'s DH has flown off on a business trip early this morning so she's on her own and F2's DH is poorly so she's getting out the way to give him some rest. Good test result vibes very much needed for her DH...he's got a big lump on the side of his neck and gets the biopsy and CT results on Tuesday.

Off to get DD2 up the off to the park. See you all later. x

What a day, no gardening done at all. Butchers this morning - nice rib of beef for lunch, and some lambs liver for DH. Never cooked it before so need to have a read up on that.

    rant removed!

HHI to do tonight, woo hoo.
