I thought I got a good deal by getting a large chicken for 13.07! Also got chocolate cheese cake (none on the meal deal stand, but loads in the normal cake area) & cabbage (no other sides left apart from mash & salad)0

wow extra large chickens. cant w8 for sat now0

I got.........
Ready to Roast Lamb
Beef Roasting Joint
House Salad TWICE
Belgium Chocolate Cheesecake
2 x Apple Crumble
2 x Elderflower Presse TWICE
:j :j :j :j :j
Was a toss up between the ready to roast beef & the Beef Roasting Joint, but the Beef Roasting Joint was bigger, a 1 kg, compared to 800gms for the ready to roast beef, but maybe I should have got the ready to roast beef, if its £12 for only 800gms, maybe its much nicer beef than the 1kg ready to roast beef which was only valued at £80 -
Peterborough store had lots out, got me an extra large chicken - only disappointment was that there was no choc cheesecake or apple pie out so I thought I'd give the almond&plum tart a try. Maybe they're had sold out...0

I went to the Peterborough store at 4.00pm and was amazed at how full the shelves were. I got the choc cheesecake but no plum & almond pies. Maybe they are filling up throughout the day as the chicken shelf was full. I think it's a brill deal!0

Just read most of the thread..... but please, would anybody buy a chicken for £12-£14 if it was not in the offer..... I know I wouldn't.:rotfl:
If you went to Asda, Sainsburys, Morrisons or Tescos you could get 3-4 chickens ready cooked (I know that they would not be as nice, but I thought this site was about saving money) If you went closer to closing time I bet you could probadly get 7-8 chickens with a whoopsy sticker!0 -
Yes, the chickens are absolutely delicious.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

Yes, the chickens are absolutely delicious.
I agree - I got the chicken last time and couldn't believe the difference in taste to the ones that I usually buy at Tesco on offer
in fact all of what I bought last time, Valentines day deal, was wonderful and I'm NOT an M&S fan but a money saving one but even OH commented on how good everything tasted
I'm off today to get my deal just don't know what to buy ...............0 -
i just got a £13.26 chicken
I got 2.89kg £12.69 chicken, there are some big ones.
With a 10% off voucher, I only paid £12.38, so the chicken was free!
They give you 10% off the amount before the dine in discount.
The total before discount was £26.16, less 10%£2.62, less the dine in discount of £11.16 = £12.38.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -
what is the 10% voucher please?0
