genie, finding the right dog can take months. Patience is a virtue
Here, toilet training doesnt take long you know, take a week off work and you will have cracked it enough to take a pup into work.
And dont be suprised at any dog who is "toilet trained" walking into the office and weeing - my last one did - in front of the boss as well:rotfl::rotfl:0 -

Breaking my heart this.......
Those two poor standards - if only I could have a dog that size I would have them, I'm sure they would love some roast dinner on a Sunday (used to do that for my previous dogs and they loved it). They are so thin I makes me cry.
So many dogs - I am so limited re the size.... I've heard of an Old English !!!!! near me and how I would love to have her, I've had previous ones and adored them, but it is the size issue.
I'm going to look back over your links - thank you by the way! - and see if there is one that fits my (ridiculous but necessary) criteria.
Meanwhile, I want them all.Genie

I suppose two yorkies wouldnt be of interest? I mean, the allergy issue?0

fc - I think Ive already placed sammi (you gave her link above) with a lady who contacted me about a month ago looking for a pom or chi
She went to see this girl a couple of days back and Mary of Enfield Rescue is taking the pom to her home for a home check tomorrow
fingers crossed.

What a gorgeous dog - so beautiful. Think could get bit of an itch from her tho
Not sure of Yorkies - could be too silky. I know a hundred am ok with poodles, weirdly Old English (but too big, alas..) and Airedales (again too big) and rough coats. Smooth - as in Labs etc, make me itch and cough and affect breathing.
After visiting lots of sites - am getting more and more partial to a miniature poodle, black or brown. Lots of pups for sale - but so far can't find an older one.
Will have to retire now - its been a long week and my eyes are sore, partly to do with those standards...... love 'em. Why do people harm or neglect these animals? Beyond my comprehension.
I'm really really appreciating the help and support.
Jeannie
PS Have registered with Poodles in need and tonight registered with LDR, Little Dog rescue.Genie
