Keep up the PMA!!! It does work!!
Nats x
Heres hoping Nats!!
Does the PMA work on the lottery too? Even though its not very MSE, i still feel like im missing out not playing! Not that I never won anything anyway!0 -

Well DS was good again, there was no message from the teacher. As there was no contact today, (teacher wasnt in class when DS was let out and no message was passed to the other teacher) I didnt call the school, but my dad did instead
I shouldnt of said anything to him really, but he is begining to get fed up, how hard is it to say, good or bad day? I needed to know if today was good or not, he has had sats on for the last 3 days and the first day he refused to anything.
That aside today has been quite good ive roughly worked out the budget for april, even though there is a 2 week half term, i will be able to cover everything and maybe pay a little extra on the debts. I just cant go over the overdraft again as the money im being charged could be put towards my debts instead.
Plus i should have an extra £100 from overtime.
Going to see how far I can make the food in my cupboards go for next month, im hoping to spend as little as possible but still be heathly, will probily end up on the old style board for the night now!0 -
hi.
just a couple of thoughts - can you not get worming stuff from the docs for free for your DS?
also, re. washing powder etc. i like own label stuff, but but it all when on offer (eg. morrisons has the lenor on offer for £1 a small bottle at the moment).
the other thing i have learnt on here is to use at least half as much (for washing and fabric conditioner) as they tell you to use on the packet! you really won't notice the difference and it will cost you half as much!
i buy finish dishwasher tabs when on offer. i took the tip from here to snap them in half - now i am adept at using thirds!0 -

Didnt think of going to the Docs, im hoping he will only need one course of treatment.
Will try halfing the dose in the washing machine tonight, have so much to do and that could save a small fortune.
And i dont have a dishwasher
I would if there was room though

Hi Ang
I use half the normal amount of washing powder I used to and "top it up" with a squirt of Stardrops which is only 67p a bottle. The clothes come out smelling lovely and fresh. It says on the label that it can be used for laundry.
I have just bought a large box of Persil Colour from Bookers Cash and Carry (Work have a card). It was about £13. When I bought the last box, I wrote on the lid the date of purchase. It was 21st June 2008, so the box lasted 9 MONTHS!!! This was because I used half a scoop of powder per wash and padded it out with 67p Stardrops!:rotfl:

Hi Ange
If you know someone who uses dishwasher powder ask them for the scoop, I pinched one from the kitchen at the university (well it was my job to clean the thing and keep it stocked with food and cash up at the end of the day:mad: ) and I use that for my washing powder - I can make a 2.5kg box of Tesco Non-Bio last for 13 months:D as I only use one scoop of powder. I use any old fabric conditioner - whatever is on offer, Lenor is nice but expensive and I only used it when I had one to test and I had vouchers too.
Stardrops - you can get this in Home Bargains - it is absolutely fabulous and I use it to clean my oven (I dont know if you're supposed to use it for that but it seems to work for me). A little goes a long way and its really cheap.
Best dash - I need to brave the wind and go to my local stationers as I need to get something for my business (no personal spend for me today:j ).0 -
 Typed a reply and lost it
Anyways,
ITS FRIDAY! :j :j :j
Joe was good yesterday
Hoping it can continue for today (cant find a beggin icon)
Money is even worse, i compleatly forgot about the DD for great uni which was £86   Im going to call and get them to change the date as this causes me problems almost every month.
So money didnt quite go to plan.
Hope everyone is okay today?0 -
Nothing a very large gin and tonic won't sort out! I'm gagging for a drink and I still have 1 hour 11 minutes to go at work, followed by 9 minutes on the sunbed followed by a meeting with my bank for a "personal review" For this, read
