You know, it really seems to me that you are a wonderful mom.
But do you ever have any time for yourself?
I mean do you take time for a "pamper night" it does not have to cost a lot, nice bubbles in the bath, perhaps with candles, a face pack, (needless to say made with oatmeal and honey).
Can be a lovely lift to the spirit and confidence!!
You really should spoil yourself now and then!!Ebay 13

Evening,
Well im getting there with the tiding, well what i actully did. Kitchen and Living room is spotless. I still have a huge mountain of clothes and bedding to wash. Cause of DS troubles last week Ive been having to wash his stuff daily and now ive got a even bigger than usual backlog. Still not really got anywhere with my room and it badly needs a dust and a hover.
Ive paid a few bills online today, credit cards and rent. Im nearly out of milk so will grab a couple of pints to keep us going until I get to go shopping on the weekend, need a few cleaning bits and of course the usual fruit and veg - I really need to get into the library as DS wants to get some books out, the local one is closed so we need to go into town so I want to go to the market, i will take my granny trolley too
as i need to get potatoes and they are heavy!
Hope everyone is well,0 -

:hello:
Sorry, only just spotted your post! Thanks SF
I do try and get some time for myself, it doesnt happen to offen, but your right, a pamper night wouldnt take much time or money. Love the idea of home made face pack and a soak in the bath.
In fact I think thats what im going to do tomorrow, im going to get in, sort the usual dinner and blizt my bedroom so its all nice. Then once DS is in bed im going to have my own little pamper night and im even going to get a bottle of wine (as its pay week and i couldnt blag a freebie of the boss last week)
:A Thanks again SF you have great ideas :A0 -
Morning All,
Didnt sleep well at all last night, I was still up gone 2  And im still so tired!
Anyways its Friday, and im looking forward to this evening, going to have a nice pamper night with a glass of wine once DS is in bed tonight and just relax! Really looking forward to it.
Have drawn the childminders money out of the account this morning, will need to draw more out to get a few bits later tonight. Didnt want to draw it out this morning otherwise i would spend it at work, or someone will ask to borrow some and its easier to just not have it on you.
Anyway, should really get back to work!0 -
Hi,
Just wondering, You get 3 books a month right ?
Do you actually get around to reading them? Have you read them?
Could they not be sold on Amizon or the like when you are done?
Also, a friend of my daughters sells a lot of her childrens clothes and equipment on Ebay, she does not "make" a lot of money but it helps to de-clutter the house.
Even if you only made enough to pay for this months books, that would be a help.
Have a good weekend.Ebay 13

Hi SF,
The books are for DS, we already have the full sets just paying them off now.
Sell my books  :rotfl: I know i should, but i love just looking at them
all neatly lined up on the bookcases in the hallway. I did sell a few a while back to make space but whats left i wanted to keep
I like to re read books and try to get them signed too. (yes im a sad cow)
I really do need to get on ebay, i re regisitered but they have cancelled my account again for some reason
Will have to chase them up again me thinks. Have got quite a few clothes that have never been worn to go and some other bits. 0 -
Yeah, Know what you mean. I have "bunnykins" collected for no other reason than to look at. Could never get rid of them.
SAD,,,, No not at all !!! How do you get a book sighed.? I thought you had to know the author for that to happen, and then it was like a personal giftEbay 13

You can send some books off to get signed (usually you have to pay for postage), i usually search the web for email address or websites, but im lucky that there is a book shop close to work that hold regular book nights where local authors come in to talk and they sign books too, (its amazing how many authors live close to Peckham) if i cant make it the manager is quite happy to do it all for you. DS has some quite nice signed books from there. Books are my hobby i suppose, i love reading, its my own escape, wether its on the train or anywhere really, i can just switch off.
SF, this face pack, how do i make it?
Just mix it up? 0 -
:j Yay, Joe has been good, i cant keep refering to him as DS as ive nearly called him DS instead of Joe the other day.

Another nice start to the weekend :j
