NO QUIDCO MONEY PAID TO VANQUIS THIS MONTH, £19.56
Grand total of £8.28 for emergencies
Ive put my smoking budget with the days out / weekly spends, theory on this is that i know i will feel guilty spending money on ciggs if it means DS and I cant go out. Also going to switch to rollies, they last longer and I smoke less.
There is no room for error on this months budget, not that there ever is. The bank charge hasnt helped but its my own poor planning and I should know better.
Im not expecting much from quidco or any other sites at the moment, but even if its only £2 I will just send the extra to Vanquis, I really want to clear this card ASAP.
Budget also doesnt include any overtime, and im expecting at least a £100 which is going towards DS tutor - this is also killing the budget, but with the problems with DS I feel its really important to continue.
Any other overtime money will go straight to Vanquis.
Also as its half term I should be able to get a lift into work saving £2.60 but also means i will be in at 7.30 which is an extra 1.5 hrs a day so that should add up a bit.
Still being positive!
EDIT _ Once highlighted in green its been paid!0 -

RE Duck Legs.
Just as a matter of interest were they a "special offer".:rotfl:
wondered if you had a slow cooker, you could perhaps roast them in there whist you were at work, and when you got home put them in a pitta bread with salad, might be a quick meal before a evening out with your son.
Have a good Monday.
On second thoughts just saw Strumpets idea, Much better than mine, and sounds yummyEbay 13

Thanks strumpet and SanFran.
Yes, they were on special offer, reduced down to a £1 a while back :rotfl: Never bought duck legs before, but it was too good to miss
Im starving now! Both ideas sound good. I need lunch, ive just enough money for some bread to make a cheese sarnie so that will do for today.
But I am really hungry now

Evening,
DS had one or two wobbles today, not bad but not great either. But that I can cope with.
Spent my last £2 today on a loaf of bread and a chocolate bar. Pay goes in tomorrow, so new budgets will start from then.0 -
Morning All,
Payday yesterday :j :j :j Which means i can live again!
Havent spent anything really, just the train fare into work. Need to update my sig really. Still got 4 ciggs left, but need to buy tobacco, havent a clue how much it is anymore.
DS had a good day yesterday and he has a trip out with the school tomorrow, so just hoping he cant remember to make the right choices.
Need to plan a couple of days out for the half term. My dad wants to take DS karting again, but that wont come from my budget thank god! And i prob wont be going as it scares the living daylights out of me. Also a trip down to littlehampton with the dog, again with my dad. Been thinking about taking DS up to the Tower of London, its expensive but i can use my vouchers. And we can take a picnic too.0 -
How silly of me, forgot to say overtime was £135 after tax - £100 for DS tutor and £35 left - going to keep it in a emergency account until the end of the month, then transfer to Vanquis.0

Morning All :hello:
Still not spent anything really. Still sticking to meal plans.
DS is having on / off days at the moment, good one okish the next.
He has a school trip today so i hope he can at least behave for that. So he has been sent off with an extra cheese sarnie and some other bits, DS could eat for England!
Not much else to report, busy, busy, busy, i was going to catch up on the weekend, but MSE is closed
Hopefully i will be able to get online tonight at home, but i really need to sort my bedroom out, its a compleate mess

I have to get the train home  Thats another 2.60!
On a brighter side, DS has been good today and enjoyed his trip, he also gave the rest of his spending money to the teacher as she didnt have enough money for the ice creams! Sometimes he can make me so proud
