Evening All,
Joe is fed and bathed, we are going to watch total wipeout (with pop corn!) and then it will be a book and bed for him.
Going to get on with making a necklace to match the braclet and earings ive already made. And maybe a couple of stretch braclets.
My tesco vouchers arrived today only £7 worth this time, going to use them for fruit and some other bits i need and save the £5 for during the week. Shouldnt need to spend it but at least if i need to get the train home i will have the funds. Still going to ask the boss about having Friday off next week as it would mean a 4 day break and i wouldnt need to sub any money as its payday!!!
Best go and get the pop corn on!0 -
my boys love total wipe out too! especially the big ball thing and the mud!Highest Debt £581,000 Nov 08 and now owe nothing! yes really! I have learnt my lesson the hard way!

Morning All,
No internet at home  Wont be back on until Virgin connect me next Tuesday!!!
Asked boss if i could have Friday off and they said no  But instead of getting down about it, i just acted like it was no big deal. Carried on with the day, and i think that peed them off more than me moaning about it :rotfl:Later i was asked if they could let me know on Thursday afternoon, but ive just said its ok, it will still be a 3 day weekend
Lets just hope the payrise is half decent!
So this week will be a work week but i am going to find something to do with munckin on Saturday and Sunday, Monday we are just going relax if its hot we will go to my dads a borrow the garden if not we will just stay in and have a movie afternoon.
Will need to do a bit of baking this weekend too ready for Joes lunches, not really done much at all this month.
And i sold a braclet that i wore to work yesterday, it was only a strech beaded one but i got a £5 for it :j Theres about £3.70 profit on it! So my lonely £5 now has a friend and i have £10 whole pounds until day day :rotfl:0 -
Morning All, MOAN ELERT!!!
Feeling very down today, i just want to cry. Doesnt help thats its that time of the month and i turn into a mess, im up / down / up / down.
Work is really getting me down at the moment, i cant make my sums in excel work and all i want to do is scream 'f it' and go home. There is no money for pay and its just pure stress. I think of leaving every 3 months or so and never do anything about it. Just moan about it. Ive been here since the day before Joes 1st birthday and feel like im not going anywhere anymore.
I want to take Joe and just jump on a plane somewhere nicer than here. God, jumping on a train to the other end of the country would work.
Anyway, should stop moaning and get on with it i suppose. And i one day closer to the bank holiday - that is a bonus!0 -
OK,
Ive kind of stopped moaning after half hour of tears last night.
Ive not got a payrise this month - the company cannot afford it. I knew this would happen. Thing is without the payrise i cant afford to pay the £500 odd for a weeks intensive driving course even if my boss does give me extra holiday days. And i just cant save that kind of money plus extra for my theory test etc. Esp as xmas is only 4 paydays away.
I was feeling very lonely yesterday, fed up with everything, no social life, no money, no boyfriend etc.
But as ive posted before
''Basically, in the bluntest terms, stop whingeing, change what you can accept what you cant, and take the decision to be happy''
I MUST remember and put this into pratice when i start to feel miserable me thinks.
Oh well onwards and upwards.l
Ive got a busy weekend, i need to find a present for my dads birthday and finsh off shopping for Joes school uniform. We still need shoes, trousers, t-shirts, pe bag, pencil case stuff and a school jumper - i cant find one for love nor money at the moment as there is a new design!!
I may also be really naughty and go for a hack on Sunday, but at £35 its an expsensive pick me up. Off too have a think about it.
And of course work, even if i am in a foul mood with work!0 -
Hope you are ok and feeling better about things!0

Hope you are ok and feeling better about things!
:hello: Hi Kadiya
Congrats hun! Glad your doing well! I am feeling a bit better now. Ive stopped moaning (kinda) :rotfl:
No god dam internet at home and i have loads to post but dont seem to get time at work! Need to chase up virgin media about when i will be connected.
I will be back!!!!!!!0 -
Ok, update time.
Ive stopped being moany and miserable kinda. I didn’t get a pay rise and I couldn’t have last Friday off which didn’t help my mood at all really. But as Ive said before onwards and upwards.
Saturday I spent quite a bit a total of £72! That did include shoes for Joe and the rest of his uniform. Bought my dad a jumper and Joe bought him a shaving set. The rest of the day Joe and I just chilled.
Sunday we had a party to go to at the local pub as my dad’s girlfriend was leaving. Joe had a ball and played pool most of the night. I only took £20 – didn’t come home with any change though! I wasn’t drinking on Sunday so was drinking red bull. Problem came when we got home and I went to bed, after an hour of tossing and turning I got up and started cleaning! Managed to crash gone 3! Lesson has been learnt – don’t drink red bull without Vodka!!!
Bank holiday Monday was nice and chilled too, had a morning run while Joe followed on his bike and then went and bought a new mop – God don’t I know how to live! I did have a big spend of £95 though as I took my dad and girlfriend out for dinner (I did think they would help, but hey ho, and it was his birthday yesterday)
So that’s about it really. I didn’t go for a hack, as much as I want to I cannot justify spending that amount of money on something for me, it’s not just the £5 but I need boots and jodhpurs too. Once day I will though, when I have the money and time.
Joe is doing well; he seems to have matured a little over the holidays. Im still not very happy that I haven’t had any time off with him. But there is nothing I can do about that now. Not long until October and Christmas and im hoping to have time off then. Christmas im going to have at least 2 weeks off. Im hoping to finish up on the 18th meaning that I would get plenty of time with munchkin.
I will be back to post more about money later, haven’t got any proper figures with me at the moment.
Hope everyone is well.0
