What's snowman soup - sounds like water!!

:rotfl: a great idea i found on here last year http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1189961

Hope the link works. It works out quite cheap really, ive still got enough cello cones from last year and found some nice snowman tags for the poem/message to go on. Just need some ribbon, choc chips, marshmellows and hot choc now. Need to make about 10 though!

You should check out the pots of gold as well, they were a good gift too last year.

Edit - http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1283835 link for pots of gold!

Right, while im waiting on reports heres a rough update.

Joe is so far doing ok. Ive not had any calls and he seems to be happy at the moment. School has a new reward system, based on the weather.

Rainbow - very good and a achievement of some sort

Sunny - All kids start on this - 10 sunny days = certificate home

Overcast - Minor problems - but they can move back up if they turn the day around

    Rain - Phone call home

As ive not had a call ive taken Joes word that he is ok at school - He was overcast yesterday though. To help, we now have a reward chart on the fridge, Joe can earn a sticker for each sunny day, for every 5 he can choose a reward - something like swimming, going round to grandads to take the dog out, or he can earn extra internet time - once its sorted of course.

Did have a problem on Sunday with Joe - he raided the fridge, something he hasnt done for a while. Below is a list of what he ate in 30 mins

    1/2 pack salami
    few slices leftover gammon
    6 munch bunch yoghurts
2 slices of hm lemon cake

    then he added,

oh and and sandwich mum, BUT that was only a snack :wall: didnt know wether to laugh or cry.

So as he ate most of what was for lunches, Joe had to use his own pocket money to replace the yoghurt and meat for his sarnies. He did get value yoghurts though as he didnt have enough! I hope he learnt a couple of lessons here - 1) Dont raid the fridge and 2) food is expensive!

Money sides, i havent spent any money really. Spend Sunday at my dads so didnt even need to cook. Just bought milk at £3 and fruit £2.50.

Im hoping once internet is sorted to get ebay sorted, ive gone though my wardbrobe and i still have clothes with tags on that ive had for over 2 years so that will be going on along with the BT hub and a few other bits. I need to re seach though as ive not used ebay for ages.

Anyway email has just pinged, hopefully its the reports i need!

It was! Cheered me up for a while anyway! Fancied him for ages, well ever since he picked me and a mate up from Dirty Dancing. Gives me something to day dream about :o

Anywhoo, real world. Beavers tonight, Joe had a Sunshine day today which means grandad is going too, thats if there are no other helpers today anyway. If there are it means i get a free drink in the pub with dad.

Internet has promised to be sorted by the 24th - im getting there slowly!
