    Hello

Well, yesterday was the start of having to get the train in. Joys of Joys, lol.

I have a warranty on the washing machine that promises a 48hr call out - i can’t get someone until next Tues - and i can’t have that day off! Not sure what im going to do but Curry's will be getting a rather angry letter and a bill for the launderette that im going to have to use.

Virgin cancelled my internet order as they needed a
MAC code!? And I have to get that from BT and then phone them back up – I haven’t had time to do that yet. Need to though as I can sell any jewellery at work and I want to earn extra for Christmas – only 3 paydays left now!

I am also now on a diet – I have no idea what I weight but my size 12s are stupidly tight so I need to lose a couple of pounds. Just means I need to stop eating all the crap at work. It also gives me an excuse to get out of this lunch buying thing which costs a fortune. So ive told everyone today to no longer include me (unless its pie & mash) lol.

Anyway busy busy busy must get back to the real world.

    morning all,

Quick update, had a wicked weekend with Joe. Checked internet banking though and im £777.24 overdrawn! Havent a clue whats gone on, will need to check it out at lunch and sort it asap as i really dont want any charges!

Ive started decorating Joes room, ive painted the bookcase and wardrobe its going to need another coat of paint but its cheaper than buying a whole new set. Ive got the paint for the walls to so will crack on with that during the week. Downside is because of the smell i had Joe in with me last night - he is hell to sleep next too! Every half hour a leg or a arm here!

Anyway of to work I go.

Oh and ive still got no god dam internet at home!

    OK,

Kind of sorted internet, im going to get mobile broadband with someone tomorrow, just need to go in and sign the paperwork - £15 a month so its still a saving of £15 + every month. So hopefully i can get back to posting daily - apologies in advance!

It was Joes first day back today! He was very exicted and looking forward to it, i hope it lasts! Have spoken to the childminder and he has come out happy with a new jumper and book bag - they were given one jumper and book bag each as the infants and juniors joined together so they have a new logo - handy and very mse!
Also beavers tonight which Joe is driving me crazy about! I think he was looking forward to that more than school! So need to put in the £3 a week back into the budget.

Budget wise - Next have upped the DD without telling me! Was on the phone most of yesterday sorting it. Wont have any money this month but hey ho.

Hope everyone is good! Only 3 pay days til christmas!!!

You're too organised. I'm still dealing with the fallout of summer and don't want to think about christmas .. how Grumpy Old Woman is that!!

Was driving home tonight and had to put the lights on about 7pm so I suppose time is drawing in...

Did you see the Lego offers in the papers and in the MSE newsletter. They'd make great stocking fillers if Joe's into that.

    Morning All,

Will have internet by the time i get home :j :j :j

Joe had a ball at school and beavers yesterday. Even though there were only three people at beavers including Joe. Must admit i was a little naughty and went to the pub next door with my dad :o Had a drink and went and joined in with the beavers for the last half hour. My dad joined in with the games which was a sight! Joe is already looking forward to going again next week with the promise that my dad will stay for the whole session to help BUT only if Joe can behave until then.

Im going to crack on with Joes room tonight when i get home, im going to drag his mattress into my room and he can sleep in with me tonight - i cant share a bed with the little git as he doesnt stop moving!

Money side - i have none at all. Not even any money for food so im going to have to use the credit card at some point this month. I need to start planning xmas and get a list of what i already have and what i will need. Joes mates will be getting a snowman soup again this year - they are cheap and cheerful and better than a selection pack - well i think so anyway.

Anyway i really should get back.

BUT I WILL HAVE INTERNET WHEN I GET HOME!!! (means i can feed my mse addiction!) :rotfl:
  • no internet yet! another huge mess up!

but i did pick uop Joes lego toy! now do i put it away for xmas or give it to him tomorrow (as long as theres no trouble at school)?

    Morning All, TIS FRIDAY! :rotfl:

Internet is sorted (I HOPE!) Should be up and running on Saturday.

I didnt get a choice on whether to give Joe the lego or not as my dad gave it too him  while i was talking to the childminder! Not very happy with him! But Joe was very happy with me :p

I spent £10 yesterday on some new work books for Joe as his tutor has stopped now. And as i really cannot afford the tutor we will just work through the English books together on a Sunday morning for an hour. Its gives us alot more freedom too as 11 - 12 on a Sunday was a awkward time. At least this way we can do it early and get on with the day and get out!

Joes learning about space at the moment so im thinking we might pop to the Science museum this weekend to see there space bit again. We did go a while ago but its always nice to go there. We will take a couple of sarnies and some juice and it will be pretty cheap, just the train fare.

I did start painting last night but the cheapo rollers i had were rubbish! Two walls are going to be a greeny/lime colour and two are going to be yellow, but the main wall is going to have Harry Potter painted on it by my dads lovely girlfriend. I do need more paint for Joes bed though as the wardrobe and bookcase needed second coats. But i can just do what i can now it will brighten it up. A note for the future too - no posters to be put up with blue tack - its horrid to get it back on the walls. Joe had about 30+ posters! Not fun!

Anyway nearly 9, best crack on and get this day done.

    Hope everyone is good!
