Right, third time lucky!
ITYS FRIDAY AND PAYDAY (and yes, i have a bottle of wine for later :jonce munchkin is in bed)
So, i havent been around much - its been a manic week, but a good one. Im feeling positive today - lets just hope my lucky dip for the euro millions comes in
I had a second meeting with CAHMS today and there will be a third as the psychologist would like to see Joe - the first meeting was just note taking
But as long as we come to a conclusion at the end of it im happy!
Money wise, i havent really spent much, no travel, lunches have been cheese taken from the fridge and crackers, fruit, etc. Childcare this week was £125  Which hurts alot!
But ive had some really good news with work - im getting a payrise :j:j:j:j:j:j
Im very happy even though i dont know what it is yet
I wont know till boss gets back from holidays. Also, ive been told i can get a weeks paid holiday as long as i learn to drive - an intensive course. Ive already had a set of 10 lessons, so i need to save around £650 to take my theory and pay for the course. So i get a weeks pay for something i should of done years ago. My dad says if i do it and pass he will give me his mazda! Insurance wise i can go on my dads policy!!! Boss says it will help the company in the long run.
Now this does in a way cause a problem as i want to learn something new and i would feel guilty leaving now within the next 18 months. This company has been good to me and gave me a start at 17 when i had all but one GCSE and taught me the basics in accountancy - sent me on Sage course, etc. So my plan is to stay where i am for the next 2 years. Do as many evening courses as possible and learn what i would like too, get debt free and have some money saved. So i need to get my !!! in gear and get on with it. Im going to be strict - stop the smoking, get fit and get on with life. As i said earlier this week, im 24 and need to get sorted!
So while im in this happy positive place im going to get started on the cleaning and find some old clothes for munckin as he is off to work again tomorrow with grandad to wash cars :rotfl:0 -
Hi,
Lots of good news.
Have you thought about doing an OU course? You may well get the fees completely waived if you're on WTC and they lots of starter courses so you don't have to jump in with a degree if you'd rather test the water.

They've a great course about Personal Finance and you can preview the material (and some other courses) here

Hey kissjenn,
thanks for the links, an ou course is something im definitely interested in. There are also a couple of evening courses for booking keeping and a certificate in sage that im thinking of doing. I cant get them free but do get a discount and it would cost around £120ish for the both of them.
Im getting all excited, i love learning new things and cant wait to get my brain in gear again

Well, my munckin isnt feeling too well, hes got quite a bad tummy ache, i think he has eaten too much junk with my dad  I think he will be fine by morning.
Went shopping today, spent £21.20 and that included 2 big boxes of surf at £3 so i wont need any washing powder for a while. Wont need anything other than milk as somehow we have already had 2 pints
Of to the stables tomorrow, i am really looking forward to this :j If not a little scared, but it will be nice to see some old faces and introduce joe to horses. Im thinking of going out for a hack next week. Tescos even had jodpurs on sale for £17, i was so tempted but i didnt buy them
Ive also bough some of Joes school uniform, still need some trousers and shoes and coat, but im still on budget so far!
Im off for a bath and an early night. Im always so bloody tired!0 -
Were going to the stables this morning!!! Very happy and excited and im not even riding :rotfl:

Tutor is away this weekend so a Sunday off for Joe.
Not going to be up too much today, will probably pop into a pub after the stables. Only going to take £15 just in case and of course polo's and sugar cubes!
Im definitely going to book up for a ride next week though, the feeling of being on a horse is amazing.
Dad's not going to be here until 10 - at its me who is impatient!!!!!!!! I WANT TO GO NOW0 -
Well what a emotional day! We went and saw the horses, im booked up for a hack next Sunday which im really looking forward to. I was fine no crying, until i left, i stupidly asked if they knew where my horse was, well he hes not mine anymore, but the good news is he is still with the lady my dad sold him too and he is fine and heathly. Bad news im thinking of anyway possible to get him back and havent stopped crying on and off.
My dad took us to Brighton after so we were treated to fish and chips, only a couple of quid spent on drinks so still have £10 left.
Im off now to dream of buying my horse back - sad cow that i am. God id do anything to have him back. I really would.0
