Life certainly does change in a second, but at least things are moving in the right direction in terms of the school etc, so maybe once things fall into place properly, it will makes the down times a bit more easy going for you

Your right, also school breaks up next friday, i must be one of the few parents who enjoy the holidays!
I also think i need to stop worrying about what people think of me, esp the teachers, having the EP stand up for me the other day really helped me with my confiedence. I know that Joe has the best i can give, and i shouldnt worry about what people think etc.

Anyways off home to put the ants in there new home - whats left of them that is, can you believe they posted them in the normal post :rotfl: Boss was quite shocked when he opened the post this morning :rotfl:

    Afternoon,

Still ok with budgets, only train fair in today. I may be a little naughty and get a bottle of wine so i can have a glass once munchkin is in bed. Hoping he has had an okish day. Will know soon!

Looking forward to the weekend, going to town tomorrow so i can pick up some fruit and veg, also going to have a nosey in the 99p shop. Hope they still have the storage boxes for Joes room. Def going to be redoing that this month.

Roll on 5pm - I want to go home!

Didnt get as bottle of wine in the end, its an expensive treat a £5. I will wait until next week me thinks.

Well Joe did have a good day! Lets hope he can finsh the year off well, he breaks up next friday.

Havent been to the market today, my dads electrics went and he needed me to wait for the electric man. He didnt come thought so my dads now at home waiting for him.

My dad also needs to work tomorrow so we wont be going to the beach so Joe will have his tutor as normal and we will do something instead.

So ive not got any housework done, theres only the dishes from last night and i need to hover around a bit. Going to have a cup of coffee to get me going. Oh and i need to buy the sun for the voucher, my dad and his GF are now going to come for the whole break which i dont mind too much.
But i really do want to have a couple of days with just Joe so im thinking we might have a holiday at home for a few days, if i took the Thurs / Fri and Monday we could have 5 days having a holiday at home and just have a nice few days out. I read about top tips for one a little while ago. Its worth giving it a try and it wouldnt cost to much to do it that way. We would just have to make the most of it and have no computers etc. Not sure Joe would like that bit, lol.

    Morning,

Joes tutor is here, so i thought i pop on here. Been busy this morning, scrambled eggs on toast for breakie. Rock cakes in the oven, choc bread in the bread maker and pasta cooked and cooled ready for Joes lunches.

My dad called before and he does want to go out now! I really need to go to the £1 shop though as i want to buy a few bits for Joes room. Im going to start washing down the walls and sanding his wardrobe and a self thingy ive got. Need to buy the paint but this is a much cheaper way of decorating his room. And it will be ok then for the next 2 years or so.

Best get back and check on the rock cakes!

    Morning,

Went to the £1 shop, didnt have anything i wanted! Typical really. Joe had a few hours at his grandads yesterday afternoon, then home for dinner and we had a cozy up on the sofa watching a silly film on 5.

I still really want to take Joe out for the day this weekend coming, ive been checking the weather for littlehampton but its not looking great. We are going to take a picnic, but im lost on where else to go?

Anyway, best get back to work. Will have a nosey on the web at lunch time.

Just popping in to say hi :)
If the weather isn't up to much when you go for your picninc, why don't you have an "at home" picnic"?
Get Joe to help you put covers over the floor and between some chairs/sofa, see if you can grab some dvd's he likes to watch and 'hide away' with your "rations"!
I know it doesn't sound like much, but my oldest (9 and an bit) still likes to do this together with me even now :)

    :hello:

I think we may be staying close to home anyway, checked the prices this morning £24.50  I was only going to have a budget of £25 :rotfl:
So your idea sounds great! I think we might pop into the libary, i need to find some books that Joe finds interesting. And as i dont have the money its better to do it this way, also im hoping that they are running the book club thingy this summer , they used to have it when i was a kid and im hoping it will get Joe into reading more, plus i think they were made to do a report on it as well to prove they read the book. We can then come back home and have our picnic, inside if the weather is rubbish and maybe walk to the park if its nice.

    Morning!

Why i decided to wear plimsoles in the pouring rain i dont know  But i have very wet toes!!!

Money is tight, nothing different there. Not going to go out out with Joe if that makes sense. Going to go to the libary and the market on Saturday, then home for either an indoor or out door picnic. Depends on the weather.

Joes is being very good - think it helps its the last week of term and most of what they are doing is fun stuff rather than having to do lessons, still im not complaining! He has beavers tonight, last one until after the summer hols. The very nice lady there has Joes jumper and is sewing on his badges so hes happy about that.

Have my final token from the sun, going to have to get a postal order for £38 - this wasnt budgeted for, but i fill find it somehow.

And here comes the sun! Just a tiny bit peeping from behind the clouds!
