  • I get the impression PPK had the hat before they decided to get married!

PPK - I'd comprimise by wearing something else down the aisle, after all you won't be able to see yourself, but he will! [I used this logic when picking the Mr's outfit lol]. Then as you say you can have some pics done with the hat, and some done without :)

I have to say - I tend not to wear clothes my man hates when I am going anywhere with him, as I like him to like the way I look. I save them for work, so going out with girlfiends instead :)

Your big mistake was showing the hat to him upfront........

i had the hat before we were together. it was always going to be my wedding hat.

i've comprimised by not wearing it for the wedding and having a church instead.

if stopped wearing all the clothes i had i'd just be a black blob.

anything frilly, lacey he hates. they are my fav items.

If you want to wear the hat, wear the hat! He's hardly going to do anything about it when his gorgeous bride is heading down the aisle to him :D

    Have you seen these shoes?

If my fiance dictated to me what to wear/what not to wear on my wedding day, there would be no wedding day! Cheeky git!

    P.S. Those shoes are gorgeous!

I'm sorry to say this honey, but for a start he has no right to tell you what you can and cannot wear. It seems to me that he is quite controlling, why don't you turn roun and say you won't marry him if he wears trainers. I am only saying this because I have been with a man before who controlled everything I did, down to what I wore. Thankfully I am not with him now and am with a man who fully respects me and couldn't give a damn which dress I wear because at the end of the day he is getting to marry me.

If this is still going ahead, why not have black and white tables, centrepieces, favours and a cake. I would put my foot down on the trainers thing though. Maybe he will turn to look at you as you walk down the aisle and think you are stunning in whatever you wear, Tiger xx
