I didn't think of it like that. The bad posts can be deleted then the thread reopened. I get it :D

Well the BG/Admin can just delete the bad posts, in which case there's no need to close the thread. However when all of the posts are high on the conflict scale, so to speak, it make sense to close it so it cannot escalate any further. Or deleted if too many posts are offensive. So, there are several possibilities and the BG needs to consider what is best in the circumstances.

ETA - the above is based only on my own opinion of course.

I think from now on a PM to Glad will help sort a thread out, as well as reporting it. However I don't think we should rush to send Glad hundreds of PMs - we have to be careful to distinguish between what we find merely disagreeable to ourselves, and what is truly offensive on a larger scale. Otherwise the BG's life won't be worth living.

To do that the new BG must be someone capable of real impartiality and not be led by personal likes or dislikes the way so many regular DT/Arms users are.
    .

I think that you are whistling in the wind..

For anything within the administration of DT/MSA to change, the Powers That Be have to actually give a damn about what goes on in there --- and IMO , as long as they consider that DT/MSA keep the money making portions of MSE free from troube makers, trolls, muck stirrers and vicious fish wife type gossips, they'll leave DT/MSA to wallow in its own sewage.

I meant that when you email the abuse team you could also send me a pm, then I could take a look and see if it's something I could deal with until the abuse team get to look at it :)
