Yeah but if you do go for a drink and are getting a round in but discover that W's drinks are more expesnive than yours and O's, what should you do?

firstly, i would't go for a drink, but if i was forced, i would ask the barman to make sure he stirred W's drink with his special stirrer. :rotfl:

Has anyone noticed that the majority of my posts are late at night...too busy marking, planning, report writing, writing development plans etc etc etc - so won't have time for a drink. Anyway - like I said before - that's what a forum is for - to discuss totally irrelevant issues but issues that matter to someone or other - look at some of the threads on MSE to discover that. At least I've swum with dolphines (and some sharks as well!).
