Good bs Durham! Sounds like your DH is a bit like mine, likes to wind you up when you are cranky.

Durham, well done, you did fantastic!

Sorry elle, went to a friends for dinner last night. Always lays on a really huge spread so I feel a bit sick this morning.

    Huge congratulations MFD. X

Caz called her baby Erin, same as my DD and now MFD has called bubs Benjamin, my son is also Benjamin John. Good choice of names ladies! My Ben is an absolute sweetheart with a huge personality and great sense of humour. Ben says hello to the new baby.XXX

I do..... having been there. The rational part of your brain says you know you are lucky - but it doesn't stop the irrational part saying 'yes, I know, but I wanted a pink one....'

I suspect there are more people who feel that way who don't feel they can say because of other people's reactions.

Sorry but no I don't feel she deserves much sympathy - but that is MY view and nothing else :) That's kinda what this thread is all about... freedom of speech so long as it's not abusive etc :)
My view is that she needs medical intervention from a mental health care professional - but no I have no personal sympathy for her and I am not going to lie and say I have if I don't...
I'm glad others have posted symathetic and helpful messages but that doesn't change my view or feelings I'm afraid...
Maybe, just maybe, a pregnancy thread wasn't the best place to ask for help with it as a bunch of hormonally charged protective women are always going to be likely to be outraged (mostly - not all!) at someone reacting this way to finding out the sex of their baby... :)
It's always going to be an emotive subject though which ever way you look at it...

Morning all, Congrats to Durham. Great BS!

I am 13 weeks pregnant, and my clothes don't fit my anymore :o

I don't really have much of a bump yet, but I feel I could fill out within the next couple of weeks. I don't know what to do about clothes. I really need trousers for work, and I can't decide whether to just buy normal trousers in a bigger size, or whether to buy maternity trousers. I haven't looked at maternity clothes yet, so no idea how they work. Would I be able to wear them without much of a bump, or can you really only make use of them once your bump has developed? What's your advice ladies?

    Thanks x
