I suffer with constipation even when not pregnant, and the ONLY thing that helps me is pure orange juice.... cartons of the stuff !!!!!

  • aw bless, my first nighttime feed. woke wanting a wee to find benjamin just lying in his cot looking at me. he's all latched on and suckling like a steady little pump now. seems settled enough and i haven't had to wake him to feed him yet...something i refuse to do, no matter what the mw's want to tell me about every 3 hours

thirsty work for me though. need drinks to hand.

why do i feel so bright with less than 3 solid hours sleep since wed?

  • lol at your discussion about names. most of our names were fairly traditional. our list was roughly:

    benjamin
    conrad
    matthew
    theodore
    oliver
    edward (woody)
    isaac
    max / maxwell
    travis
    spike

    there was another...

we didn't decide between benjamin and conrad until he was born. although a few people have been calling him bubba!!

At the moment he is benjamin to me, no abbreviations agreed as yet.

hope everyone is well. i see mel and af are still here. labour vibes ladies :D

  • Congratulations MFD, cant wait for the bs and pics!
  • congrats MFD - the baby finally made an appearance!

What the hell is wrong with DS1 he wakes up at 6am every damn morning! I like my sleep why can't he!! He used to sleep in until 7.30 which was great and I felt normal when I got up but I'm not alive yet! Bless him he does look cute running around the living room with two little pull along toys.

Finally saw some lovely wallpaper on friday afternoon - on sale at half price (true MSE style), came home measured my room up, went back yesterday morning to get it and there was only 4 rolls left and I needed 16! I almost cried, there was about 30 rolls when I left on friday. Been round homebase, B&Q etc but this was the one I wanted so I'm back to the drawing board!! Picked out and ordered my carpet though (not quite so MSE but managed to get £250 discount off the full price!) I've also worked out which sofa I'm after from Argos but Homebase do exactly the same furniture and there happens to be a 15% off online soon and we have a voucher for 15% the weekend after instore so that'll save me £120 ish.
