oh Ps. anyone know if sennakot is ok? I'm sure it is but doesn't say on the pack and there isn't a leaflet in the box

Dried apricots might be a better idea ;)

I've been lucky and got away with it this time..

I suffered last time but I think that's cos I daren't strain for fear of making things (the m/c bleeding) worse. I had dried apricots, did a lot of walking and bending and had a hot water bottle on my back cos it was giving me terrible back ache.

Not sure if we, pregnant ladies, can have hot water bottles on our backs at this stage...

ETA: The bending thing.. Our Occ Health Nurse once told me that to cure constipation she knew of a doctor who suggested tipping a full box of matches on the floor and bending down to pick them up one by one.. he bet you would never get to the end of the box without getting things moving ;)

Thanks MM I found the specific Qu..
Can Senokot be used during pregnancy or breast-feeding?

It is important to seek advice from your doctor before using medicines in pregnancy or breast-feeding.

why must they refuse to just say yes or no!

I did have it last time but nothing as bad as this, the fruit n veg seems to keep me regular but I'm not sure what is worse feeling full of poop and not going for days or going everyday but in agony everytime!!

Matches... random :rotfl: not sure repeated bending is good when preg with sore back tho :rotfl:
