emlou, sorry to hear what you are going through.....I can't believe all the contradictory info you are being given, and to be treated like that when you are so obviously going to be worried is disgraceful:mad: I am pretty sure they should be keeping an eye on you, in hospital, if you are getting bright red blood. I am not sure they would do an internal though, they didn't when I had bleeding with ds2 but they did keep me in hospital all weekend

After hearing your experiences I am almost glad I haven't been booked in for a sweep

Has the bleeding calmed down now??

Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

Emlou, I really feel for you. I hate it when NHS staff treat you like your wasting their time. All you sometimes need is someone to reassure you that everything is going ok and that there is nothing for you to be worried about. It doesn't take much to be courteous.

I am angry on your behalf

Not been back to catch up but just have to say
why is it when you're desperate for an asda delivery to arrive it comes at the last possible moment and then when you want it at the end of your slot they turn up 10mins before the earliest part of the slot!!
oh well at least I'm trapped in the lounge with food and drink (but no access to the loo!!)

Gosh Emlou thats terrible, what a fright!! Hopefully as you say its a sign things are going to start happening very soon for you.

Sami, I now how it feels not having excess to the loo, my bathroom was out of bounds most days for nearly 2 weeks while the new bathroom was being put in. Tilers are finally coming tonight to finish it, after umpteen calls asking when they are coming back.

At one point while I was in the house alone, I seriously considered peeing in the mop bucket, but the thought of the work men walking in and catching me made me get in the car and drive to the nearest tesco :o

Hi Karen - no its not bad about the crisps - baby obviously wanted them!

Parents - It depends if you think they're going to be useful!
My mum and MIL live about 20 minutes away, and visited most days for the first two weeks - but did nothing but held the baby while I made tea, entertained the other two children (1/2 term week) and carried on doing normal stuff!!

All the books/pregnancy sites say to take advantage of all offers of help, people bringing meals - but we didn't get any offers of help!!

Out of interest - how many of those with babies/children already, had helpful friends/family around? (Is it just my friends and family that are carp?).
I've always wondered where these help offerers are! never in my live has anyone ever said I'll come round and do your washing/hoovering/cleaning!!
My sister did come round and help me and actually was helpful so I'm hoping she can do it again even if that means her just playing with Chris - I can't help but worry about him feeling left out :o
I'm hoping this one arrives just slightly over *prod bump to make sure it's listening!* so mum will be at work coz she took over too much with Chris!!

My mum would come round and do anything I asked, but I never ask her lol
She will be helping out as much as she can when little man arrives, she'll be on babysitting aston duty while i'm up the hospital anyway, it's a shame cos i would of loved to have had her there again but there isnt anyone else I trust to have him for possibly ages!
