Congrats AF on your little one's arrival! :D Hugs, kisses better to everyone who needs them. :grouphug: :kisses3:

Had hoped to start cleaning/dejunking today, but spent all morning in town doing banking etc., came home with a very whingey toddler, had lunch, DH came home for lunch, toddler went for a nap 1/2 hr ago & I ought to be starting cross stitch work for magazine, but instead have eaten half a large  bag of Revels (& don't even like them!) & am sitting on my bum reading this thread! Ready to nod off 'cos of choc!
However, over the hols I won't have the little boy I childmind in the afternoons, so I'll be able to do stuff without having to clear up 'cos he's coming - the best laid plans, eh?
Got my prescription exemption card today & MW 'phoned to make appt for her to come to do booking in thing, Thurs a.m., so things starting to feel real now! :rotfl: Also, got a new Mamas & Papas catalogue through the post on Saturday, incl a free £5 gift card, so may go down to factory shop tomorrow & see if there's anything to spend it on. Don't think today's too bad for a Monday (* whispers in case someone's listening *:rotfl: )

Right, off to start stitching, see you all later - have a nice aft!

AM - Ouch  . I'll never forget riding a mans bike one and forgetting about it when I went to stop! Don't think I have experienced pain like it - but to fall like that when you are pg! OMG MASSIVE HUGS TO YOU!!!!!

OMG one of my receptionists has just brought me in a homemade card to say congrats on pg and a little pack of M&S Bibs! How sweet!

I officially hate being in work - roll on September. Everything crap today and is worse because I've been off for 4 days. Next break - Easter weekend!!

I am MASSIVE today - don't know if it's cos I;m in my new Mat trousers and a nice smock but Bump seems to have grown a lot sinceI was in work Thursday - everyone is commenting on it.

Jillie - I am so impressed you have done nursery already! We are so lazy - it's good having someone at same stage so I can say to OH 'look what Jillie's done already'. Nursery currently had a single bed, wardorbe and computer desk - there's about a 2 foot square where you can see the carpet.
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?

    How you all doing ladies?

Some of you may not want to read this as it is about my misscarriage but I really wanted to just raise your awareness about it as mine was so bad! I had no idea what to expect either. I just hope that nobody has to go through what I did.

Sticky baby dust to you all! xxx

Well I officially had the week from hell last week. As you all know I found out I was having a misscarriage last tuesday. Well I decided I wanted to have the d&c so I had to wait for them to get back to me. They called on the wednesday to say I'd need to go along to the hospital & see the Doctor on the thursday & then go back in for the op on the friday.

Ok I thought...Life goes on...Positive mental attitude & all that carp! I went out & just carried on as normal on wednesday morning. Picked hubby up & whilst driving around doing a few errands I started to have the worst cramps imaginable.

Stopped & got some painkillers & decided to head home. Had a few hours on the sofa feeling terrible & then had a mad dash to the loo. It was then very apparent that my misscarriage was well under way. I was loosing lots of tissue & blood clots. (Sorry if tmi) :o

I was literally glued to the loo for 2+ hours having terrible contractions every 3-5 minutes. (I actually didn't know that once you get to around the 12 week mark & you misscarry that your body will basically put you into labour in order for your misscarriage to take place)

I started to feel very woozy & had to lie on the floor as I thought I was about to pass out. I was bleeding really heavily & by now it was 9pm. I crawled into bed but was having a terrible time. I was wearing two of Ruby's nappies at a time & having to change them every 20-30 mins.

Hubby was worried sick & rang NHS Direct by 10pm. They ended up rushing me into hospital & I was in there until friday teatime.

Contractions finally stopped by 1am & I was settled on the ward. Seen by Dr who said I would need a scan to just check that everything had made it's way out. I was sure it must have but when I went for my internal scan the pregnancy sac was still high up in my womb. So I ended up having the d&c on the friday morning after all that.

I came home friday teatime to find three gorgeous lots of flowers had been delivered for me.

I am very sad about what has happened but I also believe that these things happen for a reason.

The silly thing is that I feel more upset now about the fact that I feel absolutly fine. I have no pain, very little bleeding & I some how feel guilty as hell. I know that's sounds so silly but I feel like I should be hurting.

I'm still emotional & keep having a good cry. I'll be back though...I'm going to take 2-3 months to get myself back on track & then we'll try again.

I'll still be here though checking in on you all. Good luck ladies. xxx :A

    Oh beckysleaf :(
Just refreshed my page & saw your story - feel so bad for you, nearly in tears on your behalf
:grouphug: :kisses3: I can't imagine how you're feeling, stupid of me to try, but you also sound normal & sensible (as much as we women ever get!), please take this as a compliment btw! I do hope you'll be back in another version of the MSE Pregnancy club - don't stay away. I often don't have people to talk to, so it's nice on here when complete strangers take an interest in each other's problems & joys.
Lots of hugs, love & prayers
