Thanks Becky - hope to see you on here again very soon.

Ickle - have you tried your maternity unit at hospital? My booklet says they have them available. If not, I think someone borrowed from ?Lloyds Pharmacy.

10lbs  OMG - I was 7.5lbs and OH was 5.5lbs so I'm hoping for a 'medium sized one'!!!

I did that labour predictor now that i know about my birth and OH's birth

2-3 weeks early and around 7lbs.

i wish it worked that way - i was 5 weeks early and 5lb, and OH was 6 weeks early and 4lb 14oz, and seth was 9 days late!! we were so convinced we were having a tiny early baby it was such a shock to even get to my due date let alone go over!

    £7.11p - that is cute!! ;)

I've been meaning to ask all weekend - is it the law that you have to finish at 38 weeks? A friend said for insurance purposes you have to finish at 38 weeks but it's the first I'd heard of it!!

Oh yeah - MIL works at DWP and says benefits for new mums and mums to be changing over the next 6 months so watch this space. :p;)
She bought me loads of info over the weekend - SMP, MA, SureStart, HIPG, Free Milk - apart from SMP and HIPG I won't get anything because I earn too much! Oh well

My sis born after me was 11lbs something  - poor mum - she's only little 5 foot 1 (same as me!). Mum did say my birth was nice and easy - for the first 7 hours she just thought she had tummy ache! So only realised she was in labour for last 4!! MIL was in labour for about 5 hours with OH - we are both the oldest.

Only thing I am dreading is OH wouldn't sleep for more than 2 hours for the first 2 years  - please baby take after me and sleep lots! (but not too much as I want to play with you!)

OK, so who else has bump envy? I can't be the only one, i went a pregnancy pilates and a pregnancy yoga class this weekend and found myself jealously eyeing up other peoples bumps and sticking my fat belly out to try and compete. I'm nearly 19 weeks and although I do have a bump, it just looks like fat....

I know, it's a joke! It would be nice for working folk to get a little bit of help once in awhile!

One of my girls has done some overtime recently and after tax and NI she has worked out she got paid about £2.50 an hour for doing the overtime! Mine worked out at £5 less an hour once all my deductions had been made - it's not worth it! Myabe now any overtime I do I'll ask if I can save up to have as paid time off when bean arrives.
