Triggles - sorry hun I don't know much about monitors with mats
What monitor did you use for DS2? are you still using it?
I was looking forward to getting the swish BT150 for bump but last week Chris decided to start climbing out of his cot so we're gonna buy him a bed now so bubs can use his cotbed and I'm guessing he won't need monitor now coz he keeps popping up besides me before the monitor has even gone off!!

MFD - Thank you, not the result I was hoping for but the one I was expecting, I'm not sure but I would think that brothers will be closer than a brother sister combo so that makes me happy :D Plus hopefully I'll get to foster some lovely little girls in a few years for my fix of princesses and pink ;)

Jillie - Chris has nursery curtains coz my mum bought them but bump will have plain ones from Asda they are very nice and I think they were about £10 (they are linen look) but will need a black out blind which for us is another £10 ish but I think the curtain/blind combo is a good way to go because I only close the curtains for daytime naps so bubs knows that its still daytime nap not big nighttime sleep

Morning all, hope everyone is ok.
I'm not doing too good, am in really bad pain, went to watch OH's little brother play rugby yesterday and took a fall, it was on the grass but i slid and sort of done the splits and now my pelvis is baaad.
I can barely walk, OH has had to take the day off work to take DS to school for me, and Mum said she'll take him and pick him up for me the rest of the week.
I couldnt even get in or out the bath last night without OH helping me, and cried when I got in bed :(

Have got midwife today, been taking co-codamol but it doesnt even touch the pain, I feel so low, I cant take much more....

Well i'm 37 weeks today so hopefully not got much longer to go.

Sorry it's just a winge post......

Hi all, congratulations on the blue bump sami.
Hello to eveyone, hope you are all keeping well x
Not been posting as have been feeling reallllly crap, but reading (and forgetting:mad: ) eveyone's news.
Going through lots of changes with support workers and new CBT. I know I will benefit in the long run and am lucky to be getting such good support but at the moment it is very hard.

On baby news, had 20w scan but have to go back this Friday as it was sitting on its bum and hiding the whole time:rotfl: which is how I have been:rotfl:.
I am a serial lurker and will post when I feel able. Much love and best wishes to allxx

Sorry you're feeling rubbish, Astonsmummy. At least you're near the finish line though. Make the most of everyone looking after you for the next few days, and hopefully the midwife will be able to suggest something other than co-codamol to help make you feel more comfortable, or will get the GP to prescribe something for you.

Sami - we're using a Tomy Walkabout Platinum for DS currently, but will still be using it for him. He sometimes wakes up in the middle of the night for no reason and is walking, talking, and playing, so I like a little warning when he's up and about. This Babysense one is mainly a breathing/movement one - but I'm a bit paranoid about that. Oh, and congrats on the blue bump - we just found out last week we're having a boy again as well!

Thank you and right back at ya :D, I know what you mean about keeping the monitor with DS I felt the same until Chris demonstrated that he was more efficient at it :rotfl:at about 2am the other night I was sound asleep and then i felt a little prod to my arm followed by "wake up mummy":p
On a personal note I feel the movement breathing things would make me worry more but I understand thats not how everyone feels.
