Searching, would those heat pad things (designed for period pains) work for you, whilst you're at work?

I think I've seen some which are specifically for backache too - they're kind of butterfly shaped and spread further across your back than the period pain ones. I've had some cheap ones from Bodycare before which do the same thing as the pricey Lil-lets ones.

bodycare? really i go past one on the way to work ... well happy my work really hurts my back and i dont wanna keep taking paracetmol x

You might have to hunt around the shop for them cos they package them up for all sorts of ailments - backache, period pain, IBS, etc - but they're all the same thing.

Come to think of it, they should have them on a special stand by the door - I bet there's loads of people been out in their gardens this weekend and pulled something! :rolleyes:

if not we got a boots and a superdrug 2 seconds away from it i know im on til tomorrow i know im gonna need something ... right i think its beddy bye as i gotta leave alittle earlier for work to hand in my sure start grant from and send off my HIPG form ... plus this weekend has knackered me sweet bumpy dreams x

I had a late night (found the Bio Oil.. *ahem* ) and have been awake since half six when OH got up for work so think I've had all of four hours sleep if that.. It'll hit me around half nine and I'll probably get nothing done today.. luckily it's my quiet week at work so nothing requiring too much brainpower!

feelie, are you back at the DPU today or is that tomorrow? Hope it goes well if it is today

Morning chickadees - Think I'll have to make an appearance in the office today - not looking forward to it though but hohum. Going to wait until my back settles down a little... it's killing me
I have some of those instant heat bags (well I have the ice packs too...) - got them from the £1 section in good old Asda
Think I'll take one with me to work later to help me along a little
I had really bad foot cramps the other day and it took ages for it to go away - thinking back now then I hadn't had any bananas for a few days so the potassium makes sense Sami Will try to make sure I have one a day from now on because that was really painful and annoying - and as for the "when you have cramp you should walk it off".... HA!

i wanna go back to bed ... seriously still tired OH slept in so was doing a mad dash to get zoe ready for school but hey set of in time ... im with you today mrs t i ready dont wanna work today ive gotta have a word with the boss as well ... fun ... off now to brush my teeth and go as i gotta do things before work ... hohum hope everyones ok 6weeks and 4 days and counting til ML x
