Mrs Tine - just my tuppence about ebay listings. For newborn think normal auction ending times, but for 0-3 months (which is what I'm looking at currently) then I only get to look when Annabel is asleep during the day - so perhaps think about afternoon nap time???

on an ebay note - I can't see any seller descriptions on teh new format. It's driving me mad - can anyone help them reappear? None on the ebay forum has responded to my plea and ebay themselves are ignoring my emails!

    Good point chuck...

And as for the problem - ehhh no sorry... I don't have any problems seeing anything on Ebay - what browser are you using? I'm on IE 7 (I'm a traditionalist when it comes to browsers... I blame too many years working with anti virus and liking that I know how to debug and spot files that don't belong ;)

  • As a general note on baby clothes - don't buy the Jasper Conrad stuff - especially at full price. They are not designed with a baby in mind, either in terms of shape (compare to clothes from shops such as mothercare) or in terms of ease of access (one of my sleepsuits has poppers up the back - completely impractial for nappy changes!)

I also have a little jacket which is kind of padded - looks fab and really cosy but in reality you can't actually get a newborns arms into it! By the time his arms are strong enough the jacket will be too small.

I love JC stuff for me and hubby and DSS but so far my experience of his baby stuff has been poor.

It's normal for doctors to neither care nor want to confirm that you're actually pregnant... mine took my word for it too although I made an appointment to see them at about 4-5 weeks to get it on the system etc. Others insist on you having a blood test to confirm you're pregnant before they will even entertain the idea of booking any MW appointments... just depends on where you are I think...

I'm not suprised ~ you've bought/been given fake clothes!

They should say Conran on the labels ~ I'm sorry, I couldn't resist :o:D

it's funny how some things fit some and not others isn't it MFD? I have a long and thin baby - tesco own body suits are a good shape as they have long legs. Next stuff is lovely, but she doesn't fill out the body before she's outgrown it in length!

    I think it's trial and error :D

Shhhhh MFD! I'm trying to sell the JC stuff not buy it ;)

Some of it is very pretty but not very me/us then again other stuff is just super pretty :) I think on average I have kept about 25% of the big bundle I bought... and seriously I think she's going to struggle to wear it all!!!

thanks ladies! my mum just phoned and it sounded a bit scarey think we nearly lost baby at one point? cord was round his neck and sis was passing out between contractions. was vontuse(sp) then forcepts delivery, they just had to get him out in the end. They are both here and well and thats all that matters. oh her ex never went which im not impressed with??? will try get facebook pic up later:D xx

Oooh Caz that IS scarey..my ds was born with cord wrapped round his neck, although I wasn't aware of it at the time. He was blue/grey and had to be revived by the midwifes. Even more scary to think it all happened at home so THANK GOD he came round!!!! I mentioned this at my booking in appointment yesterday as the only reason I was hesitant about another homebirth this time. Big congrats to ur sis,she done good! xx
love my little man he is amazing :j
