Ouch! Have you tried rubbing a little of your milk in to the nipple after each feed? That always worked well for me, and you are unlikely to be allergic to any of the ingredients and make things worse, as might happen with some of the creams you can buy for this. Maybe also ask mw to doublecheck your positioning while she is there, as this could explain both the cracked nipples and also that he is hungry quickly after a feed if he isn't 100% correctly latched on.
ooh havent tried the milk thing, the midwife gave me some sample sachets of lasino which just feels like vaseline but it doesnt seem to do a lot! i'll ask her to have a check for me, he seems to get stage fright whenever theres a medic around so nobody's ever seen him feed, he probably is on completely wrong!!Mummy to

I know how you feel hun, Everything is still boxed up and nothing is washed yet in my house and I dont know why but I have a feeling thats shes coming on time and wont be late like her big bro! I just have so much going on building wise at the mo thats its pointless even trying to think about it so Im not! :rotfl:
I'll be sorry when I go into labour though and nothing is ready and all I have in my hospital bag is a new toothbrush and a new dressing gown!
