Krystal - that's why I don't want to be under a Consultant who will try and frighten me! Oh and I'm not being funny and hope I don't offend anyone but why are they all foreign? I really hope that the one I see can speak and understand good english - I hate it when there is that language barrier.
Remember that you don't have to accept any refferals you don't want to... And they can discharge you back to the community midwives... I declined a 34 week scan and they discharged me back to the community despite 'being worried'... Yeah, worried you might not have the full complement of paperwork to fill my file... I just wish I'd declined a couple of other appointments they'd made for me, but hindsight is a wonderful thing...

Is it odd that I want to smother everything in tartar sauce? Goes well with cheese sandwiches...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

  • Good to have you back, Triggles.

 AM beat me to it :p
AM - thanks for reminding me I've forgotten to book a delivery slot to use a free delivery voucher so they've prob all gone now :( I hate shopping now trolleys are too heavy!! (and I spend much more tha £70 on a big shop :o)
    Who do you shop with?
I am going to have to rethink our shopping budget, we really cant shop on the measly £30 I am used to lol
I find that I end up going up the local shops for more stuff and end up spending more!
So I should be able to go a whole week without doing that!

My weekly shop is about £20 in ASDA and that's for 2 adults!
OH eats like a king in work so often isn't hungry when he comes home - gets things like Sea bass or roast dinners (all free!) and sometimes eats 3 courses! He also eats loads of fruit in work and has breakfast in work!

I only buy fruit for us to make smoothies and then rice and pasta and stuff. We have loads of meat in the freezer because every know and then we get a free shipment of fresh meat.

I'm in the lovely warm conservatory now with the tumble dryer on!

Thanks Krystal - I think that I will go on the 9th and see what they say. I know I'll need swabs further down the line because of my previous hx of GH but the community MW can do that. Only if my GTT comes back positive will I agree to be under the consultant.

I shall put my foot down with a firm hand - god I sound like my DAD
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?

:rotfl: I've just been out walking, taking the dog for his hair appointment! - and on the way back, sneezed without doing a little wee - for the first time since the birth. :rotfl:

Ladies - never underestimate the power of your pelvic floor excercises. Everybody togerther now, 1, 2, 3 and SQEEZE!

And, who'd have thought walking a dog and a pram could be so difficult! Daft bloody dog kept walking in front of the wheels and getting run over.
Tine has been very clever and taken her dog out with a buggy pre baby (genius she is!!) My dogs are just dumb and walk into the pram all the time  luckily they live at mum n dads and we usually take them on a field with no prams or leads. Putting off getting a dog to live here until bubs is bigger (if I can wait that long!) as we'd have to walk up our main road to get to open ground so deff need leads (for both kids and dog :D)

I feel sick :( just gagged at nothing
The very best is sometimes what nature gives us for free.

Weekly shop here is about £150. Far too expensive, and hubby keeps saying I need to try and get it to be cheaper. Suppose I do, but I like my food!
