See this parental responsibilities thing, I can't work it out. With DS1, hubby and I were not married, but he is name3d as Daddy on the birth certificate (he also took his Dads name as we were going to get aroung to getting married at some point). He was born sept 2001 and we married nov 2003. Now, the leaflet says he has to sign the PR form, but the form says he doesn't as we married.... I am so confused! Oh and teh telephone number never gets answered! Plus, DH is not happy as as he says 'If you die having this one, will I actaually have PR for DS1?'0

Just realised that I made no sense in that post lol The moses basket was the cheap one from JL - the stand which DH has assembled was £10 in the sale from babies'r'us - sorry for making NO sense at all :rotfl:DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

Well my front room is coming on nicely, OH's dad came over today to paint the ceiling, and do a bit of plastering, OH and I went out and got some lights half price, just got a load of paint testers too so his dad is coming over tom to paint the walls.
I have thrush again  went to docs to have a swab and got a pessary and cream.
And my back is reeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaalllllllyyyyyyyy sore!:j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0 -
Nicki - Thank you for your post, you have given me alot to think about.
I have already bought a Moses basket (One of the few "essentials" I have bought so far) Which we were going to have in our bedroom, so might think about having that downstairs for the first few months instead and setting up the cot in our bedroom. I think Dh and I really need to sit down and decide, but it's hard to get him to make any decision, he thinks we have all the time in the world  .Value of prizes 2010 - 2017: £8374 Wins 2022: Magic set

Hello MFD, you home yet? And where's your birth story?
Mrs Moc, the only reason I would consider spending out on a high chair now is because this baby is having nothing else new... It's using it's big sisters pram and cot, it's older cousins cradle and car seat... And a high chair is the only thing left that we need... And I told hubby last night that I wouldn't even entertain buying it unless we start eating at the dining table again...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Awww AM I can sympathise! I had it last week and it's only just cleared... never had it before though so that was a new unpleasant experience to add to the list of things I have learnt this pregnancy :rotfl:DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

What kind of pram are you having? If you are having one with a carrycot, you might be able to use the carrycot with a swinging stand downstairs, and have the moses basket permanently upstairs on its fixed stand?
We just used to carry baby up and downstairs in the moses basket as needed but I can see if you find it difficult to carry things which are cumbersome due to your hips that might not be a workable option for you.0 -
i can sympathise too AM although it is in my boobs and erins mouth and is so not nice:(What's for you won't go past you0
