Not at all Heinz - in fact quite the oposite. The only available tariff for new customers taking broadband is myTalkTalk Essentials - this is the tariff we will be offering free 0870/0845 calls with and free daytime local calls. It is also the most flexible tariff as you can add boosts to taylor the tariff to your needs. All other tariffs will therefore become legacy tariffs and while customers can stay on them if they choose to they will not be available to new customers therefore simplifying the range of tariffs we have on offer.
Cheers

Hi Emma,
Thanks for your help0 -

As per the posts on the TalkTalk Members forum you will not loose your international calls element after 2nd June as you have changed plan now. Only customers taking the myTalkTalk plan after 2nd June will not get international calls as part of the package.
Kevin,
Free 0870/0845 calls are only being offered as part of the myTalkTalk plan so you would need to change tariff to benefit. There are no planed price changes for your tariff at this time.
Cheers

Hi DTL,
As an existing myTalkTalk Essentials customer you will get the free daytime local calls from 1st May and free 0870/0845 calls in line with your tariff from 2nd June. If you are already on myTalkTalk there is no need to opt in to the service.
Cheers

Thanks but I think we may be talking at cross purposes here. My query was regarding new customers joining talktalk after 2/6/09.Call me Carmine....

Hi Guys,
Millie, you will be able to see what plan you are on from your bills. There will be line rental charges, call charges and tariff charges listed. If you are being charged around £19 per month my bet would be you are on Talk 3 or Talk UK Anytime.
Carmine,
Any customers currently on myTalkTalk will continue to get the international calls as part of their myTalkTalk Essentials plan. Customers who take myTalkTalk Essentials after 2nd June either as a new customer or an existing customer moving package will no longer get the international calls as part of the tariff. Any existing customers will not loose the international calls after this date though. If a customer taking myTalkTalk Essentials after 2nd June wants free international calls to 36 countries then they will be able to purchase a boost for around £2 to allow them to make these calls.
Cheers
