Yes I know.
I think one of their agents should come on here and verify this one way or the other. It's so frustrating that the people who write these things don't think about the ambiguity that they create. Also, when people on their own forums and on here tell them that things are not as clear as they could be, why don't they react and make an appropriate adjustment to their website? Doing so would stop floods of calls from people seeking clarification and that in turn would lead to faster response times to customers with other queries.0 -

There is a lady, Emma, who I notice contributes on the thread and on the talktalk members forum and she is GREAT at solving/resolving and explaining issues that we as mere users, find confusing. I'd respectfully suggest that any existing TT user that has a problem, writes a double post, on here and on there, and then hopefully Emma may pick it up. I know she has a great many people do this. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
I am confused as the onetel paper became the talktalk paper/ email yet when i ring the takltkal number on my talktalk bill i get onetel.I asked for the free local calls from may free 0845 from june and to continue free international. they agreed and sent it in writing TWICE and then i got billed for those" free" calls to france from the date of the switch!
onetel says I no longer have a contract with them as I am ' with talktalk" and they have billed me for previousy free intrnational calls and evening calls.yet takl takl has sent me paper work that says free uk talk and free international.
how can i be on a line which is no longer on onetel and not yet on talk takl and be billed for calls which are free on both tariffs?i think this is a fraud!
and onetel says to ring talktalk on an 0870 number!
can someone help?0 -

The issues we're posting about here are ones that will affect the decision making process of many current and potential customers. The problems we are highlighting need to be addressed by TT and their website needs to be adjusted to reflect what exactly is or is not included within the tariffs.
Emma obviously reads these forums, but what I want to see is Emma getting TT to make the necessary amendments to their website to the effect that the questions we are posing here are addressed.
Basically, I want to know if this new TT Essentials or is it My Talk includes the following:
1. Line rental charge and broadband charge
2. Inclusive UK calls - calls to numbers starting 01, 02 and 03 - and at what times
3. Inclusive UK calls - calls to numbers starting 0845 and 0870 - and at what times
4. Inclusive International calls - to which countries and at what times
5. Broadband - what speed and what monthly cap
These are the essential things that everyone wants to see, or ought to want to see on the headline page of any package.0 -
my saga in transferring from onetel-taltalk ( uk leisure plus free international extra) to talktakl ( talkukanytime plus free international extra)
I ended up paying for BOTH and getting NEITHER because their info is rubbish:
onetel and takltalk keep sending me back from one to the other while I am paying both for supposedly free calls and packages
COMPLAINT NUMBER XXXX
Please do Not close this as I am not happy that I was not told the following
1. that onetel and talktalk are separate entities as both names appear on all billing recived from onetel.I fact I was specifically told a connection fee would NOT apply as I was already with « you ».
2. that line rental and calls package would transfer at different times: your first letter sent on 18th april 2009 indicates a date of 10th may but your welcome pack recived a few days later states I go "live with talktalk on 29. 04 09 and dont have to do a thing to enjoy extra savings » but this did not happen as only the line rental appears to have transferred from 30 .04.09. I am now paying talk talk for talk anytime AND one tel for uk leisure calls while not getting free local or international calls from either despite being signed up to both.
3. I was not told I had to cancel the uk leisure package I had with onetel otherwise it would continue to be active and they would continue billing me for ever and it would divert all/ some of my calls.
4. I have therefore already incurred extra costs of about £15-20 as having asked for a transfer from one free international package to another upgraded one with all free uk landline calls and been told I go live on 29.04.09 I naturally thought my calls to uk and France landlines were free.
5.the communication over the transfer is totally inadequate both between onetel and talktalk and between both « entities » and myself. One has to ask whether this was done on purpose in order for extra charges to be incurred and earned by the parent company car phone warehouse..
5. I consider that your information is incomplete and misleading and therefore in breach of the trades description act.
6. I therefore ask for reimbursements of the extra costs I have incurred with one tel and if billed of the over 30 mns call to the 0870 number on 15th may which your literature says is free but may have been routed via onetel because nobody told me I neded to disconnect the onetel uk leisure package separately.I also ask for £ 25 to cover the stress anxiety and time spent over what was presented to me as a simple upgrade from one package to the other witin the same company, with a new 12 month contract that would save me money
Thank you for your attention, I shall be reporting progress to the martin lewis consumer website.I was vey happy with onetel and am beginning to regret having ever changed.0
