Any clues about how to use the "Speed Dial" table?0 -
I bought 3 orchid diallers last week and I have had a few problems with them .I got orchid to set the diallers up ,and i was told all I would have to do was" Force home "
the diallers .After a few problems trying to Force home I finally managed to get the first one going .I added 18185 to the first one only .Three days later I set up the second one I had the same problem trying to force home the dialler but got it sorted .
This is when I discovered another problem , the second dialler had NOT been set up to use 18185 .It had been set up by orchid to use 1899 for mobile calls This is what I asked then to do. When I tried to make a test call to a mobile on sunday morning I got a message saying you have not signed up to 18185 . I checked the routting table and it was set up to use 1899 so why did I get this message ? The only way I could get the second dialler to work for mobile calls was to sign up the second number to 18185 . Has anyone any Idea what is going on here ?I emailed orchid to ask why this had happened there reply was " 18185 is a post pay service and you need to register with them before you use this service " .I still havent been able to connect the third dialler as the serial number didnt match the routting table ,I did tell orchid this and they changed it to another serial number that didnt match the routting table either . Will all 3 dialler need to be set up the same .I have found orchids customer service/ support lacking .0 -
Just a little confised with your post.
Is each of the diallers using a separate line with a separate phone number?
As for Orchid's support, I've found them very helpful so far and they have always replied promptly to my emails.0 -

".....I have found orchids customer service/ support lacking ...."
I have to say, I have found their customer service excellent. Several times I had to phone them recently re a new dialler I was installing for a friend - and they couldn't have been more helpful. Incidentally, I also experienced difficulty force dialling home the first time....but the problem was solved by inputting the codes to reset the dialler..then it was ok.0 -

So you are saying that the routing table was set for 1899 as you had asked Orchid to do and when you dialled the mobile number you got a message from 18185?
Is it possible that you dialled the mobile number from the phone's phonebook memory and you already had the 18185 prefix in it?0 -

My friend hadnt used 18185 as he hasnt a pc and i didnt tell him about 18185 .
18866 ,1899 Talk Talk and BT where confusing enought without adding 18185 .0
