About twice a week. skin and hair are way too dry to wash more often. and I don't stink.

I have high maintenance hair that reacts really badly to getting damp so a shower or bath without a hair wash is out of the question. If I wash my hair too often it gets dry and straw like (probably the blow drying as well as product).

I compromise by having a shower every other day and trying to stretch that to every third day as often as I can. Different rules apply when weather very hot or swimming daily on holiday.
  • I shower everyday in summer/warm weather - I used to suffer horrendously with hayfever so showered everyday once I got home from college/work/school/etc but now find its more in the evening/early mornings but I still keep to the everyday shower - it helps me to feel a lot fresher. I have to use very particular products though otherwise my skin on my legs reacts badly and starts to dry and flake-yuck! Also prefer fresh hair

On cooler days I stretch it to a bath or shower once every two/three days as my hair does not need so much washing. Still keep the important bits clean though obviously ;)

Clean underwear/socks everyday but find on cooler days most tops/bottoms etc can be worn fine or two days or so without smelling. Although as I change when I get in from work most clothes are only one for a couple of hours before I change in to pjs so not really on that long! Most work clothes go in the wash basket that day apart from skirts/trousers and cardis

Washing everyday can play hell with your hair, regardless of whether or not your blow dry it/use products and can be awful for your skin too - especially in winter!

I shower every day in the morning, if I dont need to wash hair it is just a quick couple of minutes, soap up & rinse, if washing hair, takes another couple of minutes,. I am not a bath person & a wash just doesn't make me feel clean but I dont have excessivly long showers.

I would say it is up to you really, if you "feel" clean & don't smell then why not.

  • I bath 3/4 times a week, I used to wash my hair everyday!!It takes so long to sort out. I love dry shampoo.

I used to have my bath really hot and end up sweating loads due to this (everyday then). So I've changed my habits. I do wash if I smell :P lol. In the summer I have to wash every day. I haven't turned my heating on yet.

They aren't very chic, but shower caps are really useful. DH seems to find mine really cute. ( I swear that man finds the oddest things attractive). I have curly hair, and its all wet or all dry and shower caps and then some of the right product afterwards makes all the difference, especially at this time of year.
  • I kinda take it as it comes. When I've been doing heavy work like in the garden, with lots of sweating and such, I'll take a shower.. and on the times of the month I shower every day because I hate that icky feeling. And in hot summer I might nip in the cool shower quickly twice a day.

But on days when not much is going on, when I'm not sweating much and such, I'll not bother. I"ll wash my face, armpits and down below real quick with a washcloth, but that'll be it.

I don't have a set schedule to be honest. I just shower when I feel like I need one. I've never had any complaints. ;-)
  • Have kind of cheated and skipped to the end of the thread but it's a simple question, lol.

I only shower every other day. Showering every day is bad for my eczema and is bad for my hair type, and I don't think I'm that smelly, lol! :p
Making mistakes is not the end of the world, though it often feels that way!
  • I shower every day I'm going to work, weekends if i've something planned and before a night out.
If i've no plans at the weekend then i'll brush my teeth and sit around like a hobo
