Shower every morning, sometimes bath or (less so) shower in the evening.
When I was a child my mother bathed me once a week. But she didn't encourage tooth brushing either, so I'm not planning on keeping to her standards!

We don't have water metering , oh showers every morning and I bath every evening unless I'm out late in which case I may skip a day. Sometimes I shower in the morning if it s been a hot night.
Showers get you clean, I like to relax and get clean.

  • I shower maybe 4-5 times a week. Not every day, but I do have a good wash with a soapy facecloth on the mornings I don't shower. I really hate getting wet so twice a day would be overkill for me! The kids get bathed twice a week, or more if they've got extra dirty. Children don't sweat much so they don't need dunked everyday, they just do their hands, faces and bottoms in the mornings with a facecloth.

Since we've got the heating on now we've got hot water for a bath whenever needed. In Summer we have to use the immersion heater and it costs too much to do often, we must be cleaner in Winter :)

  • I usually shower every other day and wash morning and night anyways. Kids get bathed on a sunday and showered on a Tues/Weds. They are also washed each morning night.

  • We all have a bath twice a week, (normally a Sunday & Wednesday) and a good scrub over the sink with a flannel morning and night.

When I was younger mum used to bath us once a week, on a Sunday and then we had to share the bath water.

Shower every morning without fail. Then another shower after any exercise (inc bike journeys, which I make a lot of). Couple of baths a week to relax.
  • All 3 of mine are bathed at the same time lol (for now anyways as there is a lack of room!) However they do get showered afterwards so I can wash hair and rinse off the dirty water. (I cant bath if I have to wash my hair as its long and doesnt rinse properly so if I bath and need to wash my hair I shower afterwards as well).

  • I shower every day, but sometimes upgrade to a bath for a wallow and relaxation. I have a timer for the shower, and keep those down to the minimum time necessary, but a bath is a luxury to be savoured.

OS hints? I'm on a meter, so I make sure I enjoy the bath and it lasts an hour at least! I use half the recommended amounts of shampoo and conditioner, bodywash etc, usually bought from a £ shop or on offer, and use proper flannels rather than disposable bath puffs or sponges.

Bath every morning. The hot water helps get my poor joints moving. I need assistance bathing in any case, so Mr LW and I share the water, and don't have the bath over-full. When I need to wash my hair, I do this in the bath, with Mr LW's help, apply shampoo, rinse in the bath, apply conditioner, pile it on top of my head while I use soap and flannel on the rest of me and just shower it off at the end to rinse out conditioner - shower is on for less than half a minute to do this. The shower is over the bath, and I just sit on my bath-lift in the raised position for this quick shower.
