Great 'Best Travelodge Holidays' Hunt: Which travelodge's offer the perfect get away?

Re City Road Travelodge, LondonI stay here quite a lot. Very central but quite dead at weekends as it is near the city. Five minutes walk to some excellent pubs including "The Eagle".
It's not that far from Hoxton which is lively most nights. You can always walk or get a taxi there. It's a very trendy area with plenty of bars. Kingsland Road has loads of very popular and cheap BYO booze Vietnamese restaurants.
On Sunday mornings try the Columbia Road Flower Market - is good.
It's also not far from Brick Lane (curry & weekend market) & Spitalfields (Sunday market).
Worth printing out some walking route maps if you don't know the area.0 -

I am staying at this one on 29th Nov for the christmas market, so glad you said this as I didn't know which one to book, I opted for this one for the parking.Married 1st October 2015:heartpuls

Lancaster M6 Travelodge - Review
We stayed here at the end of September and I would just say that it is very tired and worn. It was also rather dirty especially the bathroom. We might have just been unlucky and got a bad room, but as you did ask I thought I'd just warn you. It does have a large, free carpark and it was nice and quiet.0 -

Thanks Susanjane. I'm not expecting luxury from travelodge! But we will be checking in at 8pm-ish & leaving about 9 the next morning so I'll just have to endure it! As I said I don't fancy traveling on a BH with 3 whingy kids in the car (prefer TL to that!) as we'll only be a good hour from Center Parcs too!0 -
Has anyone seen any £9 rooms still around? Can't find ANY. Don't care where really.
Thanks:)0 -

None at all, I'm afraid. Usually there are odd places still at £9 for a couple of weeks, but it looks as though TL have pulled them all after the initial £9 flurry. But they may be just be re-grouping........keep watching."If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken

I have managed to get a few £9 rooms in London in today's sale and I am well pleased.
Has anyone stayed at the Fulham travelodge and any comments good or bad?
Thanks"If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
